Brilliant interview!

One of the greatest game series I've played... I just wish they'd port it onto Android so I don't have to use ScummVM

I agree indeed, I love how point and click is coming back in its 2d glory. These remakes are the right way to go and hopefully we will some new IPs there is one coming but I can't remember. I think I heard they are working on a new BS I just drool at the thought of 2d in todays technology.

PC Gamer: Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars – Director’s Cut review

PC Gamer: In cinema the ‘director’s cut’ label means usually way more gore or an extra nipple or two, but I’ve been looking for hours and haven’t seen either in this updated point-and-click classic.

What you do get is an extended version of the original 1996 mystery game, now with the opportunity to play as Nico, the hot French journalist. She joins forces with the other playable character, floppy haired George (think Hugh Grant’s annoying American cousin) and together they have to solve a murder, pick through bomb sites, hunt down a creepy clown and travel from Paris to sexy locations like Ireland. Oh, the glamour!

I got lost where he first goes into the bat cave and pretty much just ended up looking around in buildings because I thought I had missed something.

I hope the fix this in the next game - and add some sort of navigation sysytem telling you where to go next.

Playing Assassin's Creed II right now. I'm very impressed at how much better this game is than the first. It's like they injected fun, purpose, and variety into the first game. The collectibles are worth collecting now, you have a reasons to travel back to the hub town, and there is so much more to do in term of missions. Really pleased they managed to pull the franchise together with the second entry.
