As with every Pokemon game, you're going to have to battle through eight gym leaders and earn their respective badges before you can travel through Victory Road and do battle with the Elite Four and the Pokemon Champion. With the recent release of Pokemon Platinum, Diehard GameFAN has decided to show you what you're in for. Now I know what you're saying, "I've already beaten Pokemon Diamond and/or Pokemon Pearl. I know the bosses by heart." You know what though? You don't. As with all the generational remixes, many of the bosses have had some changes done to them. Remember Pokemon Yellow? The bosses were all given higher levels for their Pokemon, so you had an even harder time than in Red, Blue, or Green. In fact, even the ORDER in which you fight the bosses has shifted around, which may throw some of you off your game.
The future could be filled with revived Nintendo DS classics. Hopefully it happens!
My kid yesterday proclaimed he liked the DS more than the Switch because the controls work on the go. Then I asked if he would rather have Monster Hunter Stories 2 on Steam or Switch and he chose Steam. So proud!
With the Pokémon 25th Anniversary rumour mill in full spin, fans firmly believe Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes are a guarantee. It makes sense really, with Sinnoh next in line for a regional reboot, and it’s been six years since the last remakes, the Hoenn-based Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Alex S. from Link Cable Gaming writes: " Pokémon’s release kicked off a worldwide phenomenon that is still going strong to this day. In fact, some will say it’s never been a better time to try to ‘catch ’em all’. But is it? That’s the question we’re aiming to answer in this inaugural article of Pokémon week here at Link Cable Gaming – which generation of Pocket Monsters is truly the master of them all?"
"Even the ORDER of the bosses changed"
How easy is it to please pokemon fans lol. I used to be a fan but once you play gold you have played them all, names/pokemon change and you do the exact same thing all over again. Would love to have such an easy to make cash cow...
Although the changes may not be as big as you make them seem, they're still something to lookout for. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be sure to stay on my toes.
