PlayStation 3: Home Of The Groundbreaking Exclusive?

Therefore, perhaps it's best to assess the innovation and groundbreaking design and creativity; when we do this, we come to the logical conclusion that when it comes to platform exclusives, the PlayStation 3 leads the pack.

By "Sony's secret game" are you referring to the game a BBC journalist mentioned so long ago and no further information has been found? I wonder if there ever was a game, and if so, it's still in development or has found its way to the chopping block. I remember at some point it was rumoured to be a ninja game titled Sillouhette. I asked my girlfriend's brother, who used to work for Sony, about it and all he would say is, "Nice try. If there was a game like that, I wouldn't be able to tell you anything about it."

whenever there is a most anticipated games list you can bet 7/10 games will be a Sony game..XD

My daughter has been asking me when Eyepet will be available. I've even bought the games "Trial of Topoq" and "Operation: Creature Feature" just to make the most use of the PS Eye. Believe me, they are really awesome games. I'm just waiting for my son to get older so that we could play Eye of Judgment together.

thats why Im always angry when some x360 owners bash these awesome games and hype there games which arent even close to groundbreaking in any way. yeah gears had a nice little cover system but compared to all ps3 games and what sony has been doing the x360 fails in comparison. This is why I chose sony becuase they are moveing gameing forward constantly and bringing fresh innovative new ideas, ips, and upgradeing classic games with innovativeness and tons of nostalgia. Sony is always number one in my book untill another company can even do half of what they do.

i didnt think it was possible. i stayed away from the hype and the beta just to experience it selfishly all to myself. lbp is magic and the graphics are so lifelike that i want to touch it. resistance 2 was unbelievable because i doubted that 60 players could be possible without any lag. Mgs4 because they made the series into its true self and showed casual gamers why we adore it so much. motorstorm pacific rift because of the rush and the sponteneous combustion from track deformation and gorgeous visuals. naruto ultimate storm shows everyone how anime gammes should be done, omg! mlb09 for its realism and attention to the finest of details, and so so so many more games that will make abeliever out of the angriest of haters. it sucks that people are finacially inept to understand what bang for your buck really means when i have so many games of value that are priceless treasures.

this game brought my love for flashback on nes into a reality for me. its not anything like flashbacks story or even genre but when i was young with a big imagination playing flashback unccharted reminds me of what i was thinking when making big leaps and not trusting anyone but my gun.

And I've been a Playstation guy from PSone. They've always had amazing franchises and every system tries to push the envelope. Sony made CD, DVD, and now Blu Ray gaming/movies mainstream.

Just this PS3 generation there have been a bunch of amazing franchises and continuations of other franchises (MGS4, R&C, GT5P, Hot Shots Golf, MLB The Show, etc.). Uncharted, Resistance, KZ2, LBP, Folklore, Heavenly Sword, Wipeout HD, etc. Even though a lot of people didn't like the controls I actually really liked Lair too! I love video games period.

And even though PS3 is my system of choice I think any PS fan can appreciate franchises like Fable and Mass Effect. After all, Playstation is the place where most RPG franchises either started or got great success.

The Playstation brand, in my opinion, has the best exclusives but I think Fable and Mass Effect are excellent games and Xbox shoud get credit for them.

I can't wait for Uncharted 2 and I hope they make a Heavenly Sword sequal.

If you only own a ps3 then is obvious that you will mostly play ps3 ;)
But trust me the x360 is a fantastic games machine, the only downside is its unreliable hardware, but if you ever purchase one you will get the full next gen experience. I am lucky to own both.

Funny you should mention it. A buddy at work is looking to sell his used 360 at work for $100. It's got a 20gb HDD which is enough for me for Xbox. I really want it to spend some good quality time with Fable 2 and Mass Effect. I've played s smiggin' of each game and thiink they're awesome (Loved the 1st Fable).

It is a 360 he got back from RROD. He's a pretty good friend so I don't think he'd sell me a faulty one..Does $100 sound right for a 20gb 360 w/2 wireless controllers?

Uncharted and HS were The games for me. But that only cos GT5 is not out yet. While the x360 offers a huge library of games, far more than the ps3, only a handful of them has pushed boundaries like almost every ps3 exclusive.

had to laugh at the groundbreaking social hub comment.HOME is one of the most dismal failures of the generation.if only sony had concentrated on getting its online up to scratch(ie live) then i would of enjoyed k2 multiplayer far more than i have.instead they spent millions on a over ambitious unworkable mess like home where 90% of the time you cant chat to anyone anyway.on topic i think the ps3 exclusives defo have the edge graphically over the 360 but in terms of the gameplay et cetera its about even.just an example the 360 has gears 1,2 project gotham 3,4.of course halo3 the brilliant left 4 dead.the ps3 killzone2,gt5,uncharted,warhaw k,motorstorm1,2and mgs4.lbp.all these games are great preferances are just opinion with regards to gameplay.For example im enjoying the 50cent game more than killzone2 and think its its a better game in terms of fun.I know most would disagree with me on that one.

First Home is still in beta ..
Second home is growing ..game launching is in place now and many features are coming ..
Third , remembers the trophies system ? at first it was useless ..and then ( since 2 months ) finally some rewards in Home because of it ..

You could bash HOME , but when i connect on it i still find many people on it chatting or playing mini games ... Home isn't a failure ..far from it and it's definitely getting updates and new areas ..Home isn't a MMO , just a way for players to experience community differently ...

By the way if you want to chat on home , just pick an usb keyboard ... Too hard ? use a headset ... still too hard use a usb mic ( guitar hero or rock band ) or the Playstation eye 2 ...
my point is .. if you want to discuss on home it's quite easy to do so ...
