DigitalSpy: Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars Review

DigitalSpy:

"If you are looking for a fun, simple, good-looking platformer then you can't go much wrong with Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars. Its lack of length (around six to eight hours depending on how much you collect) is a definite drawback, but it's inviting to see something try to combine old and new aspects of game design into a platformer. While it has the presentation and imagination of a modern-day effort, a rough camera and completely pointless combat system burdens the exploration way too much for it to be a must-play game. While younger players and platforming fanatics will enjoy this more than most, this is enjoyable. Just don't expect it to occupy mush(room) of your time."

BeefJack: Mushroom Men - The Spore Wars Review

BeefJack writes: "Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars is a miniature 3D action/adventure platformer. I say miniature as it is played out from a 3-inch high perspective with some really original characters and themes that make for good eye candy throughout the game. The whole world is intriguing as you set out on your adventure playing through gardens, grass, logs, trees and pipes, and over tabletops, sinks, toilets and other household objects. When playing you really do get the feeling you have been shrunk and sucked into the world from a Mushrooms perspective."
