but we all know that this is the best fps this gen by far

The reason KZ2 doesn't have a swag bag paid for / 900xbox websites giving it 10'10 is because it didn't have a paid for ad campaign and advertising bonus bags, nor does the PS3 have as many PS3 only sites on metacritic that are counted. You guys are sad.

KZ2 has the best graphics out, which is the only reason there was hype for this game. Because a ton of idiots thought it was impossible seeing as how they couldn't comprehend anything outside of the Unreal Engine. The gameplay is solid, and it dwarfs the current gameplay kings when it comes to multiplayer offerings. There is literally no negative factor of KZ2 that isn't shared by the top titles out, the only difference is KZ2's numerical score. If you stack up the features, its no contest. As usual with most ps3 exclusives, but as a ps3 exclusive it is rated lower than it should. a 9 for a ps3 exclusive is a flop when you can give out a whopping 9.5 to gears2's broken multiplayer.

Its just the way it is, but metacritic doesn't take away from KZ2, at this point. Nothing can. Its the game that proves the PS3's hardware dances all over the 360 & the wii, without installs or loading screens. Its the prime example of the rape that is coming this year and beyond.

Metacritic has always been used by Microsoft to tout its success, I wonder if they will continue to use it now seeing as how all of the 360's multiplats and exclusives are all scoring lower than their ps3 counterparts. The site is a joke, but if its good enough for balmer and greenberg, its good enough for me pointing out the PS3 has had more higher rated games since 2008 and 2009.

Kz2 should have been the game that ended the fanboy divide, because its so amazingly clear this game just created the new benchmark for FPS's on consoles. Thinking otherwise is borderline insane. I wonder how many developers are going to set their graphical goals to COD5 and HaloOSD coming into the future, and how many are going to want to aspire to non-badge mixing/combination systems and WARZONE type multiplayer battles with 32 players, and multiplayer graphics that match the single player.

This is a good year for gaming if you own a ps3, if you dont. Lets hope that pricecut comes soon so you too can enjoy the fun. But stop the nonsense. Killzone2 is an epic fps, GG delivered, and now we wait for the rest of our 2009 lineup. The creepy thing is, Killzone2 is just 1 game. If you are insecure about it, god.. just go into a cryo chamber until this generation is over. Its only going to go downhill from here for you.

KZ2: grey, grey, more grey, some glowing red eyes, no soul in game generic shooter, but looking pretty and fine death animations. Just another shooter. COD6: MW2 becomes shooter of the year 2009.

360 at least has some interesting thrillergame coming up at the end of this year, Alan Wake.

Marty : KZ2 is considered as the best shooter ever online. It's more addictive, beautiful and fun than both Halo and Gears, multiple reviewers said it, I fully agree with them, I just can't stop playing this gem, so I feel sad for you playing monopoly on XBLA while I enjoy the finest games on PS3.

360 had no AAA exclusive games since forever, mine is collecting dust for ages. What do you do with yours ? Masturbation ? I just don't know what it's useful for, except as a paperweight or a heater when it rrods (every 3 days). Do you still buy HDDVDs ?

If Alan Wait is the only game you can talk about, then maybe you should just $hut up since it won't probably be out before 2012, your crapbox will be dead by then, considering it's already outsold worldwide by a PS3 which is twice as expensive. Any PS3 cut price right now would send your gameless old gen console to the graveyard.

As a side note, I made you more popular since my login clearly refers to your bubbleless 'Power Of Green' account. You should at least show respect for that since that's probably the only fame you can expect in your miserable xbot nerd life.

Since you put so much trust and faith in Metacritic you will see that they are several other FPS with a higher score than 92%, as for the best fps this Gen? family fortunes my friend, graphically? without a doubt but game play wise? 92 % is just about right

The last three exclusive PS3 games I bought rocks indead !

Resistance 2 , Valkyria Chronicles and now KillZone 2.

My first impression on KZ2 was that besides very uber cool looking graphics the game was boring. Strange controls ,strange AI and team work.
Well, now I love this game, the single player campaign is a little small but the replay value on it is amazing indead and it is becomes very fun once you get used to the controls(when patch 1.30 fixed it)

About Multiplayer online I never liked death matches much and on Resistance 2 game I only play online on the co op mode but I gave up a try on the competitive mode on KZ2 and .....OMFG ... I never tought I would finnally find a MP game that I would enjoy playing because normaly these kind FPS MP games are boring but not KZ2.

Also another thing that made this game great to me is that it is HARD . Even after you get used to the controls it is still a hard to play FPS but that is where the fun is really located.

I'm amazed that it was possible to innnovate some thing in a FPS game besides graphics or AI but GG did it... they made a great interesting new way to control to play such game that it is so sad that it can't be implemented in a FPS in a PC using keyboard and mouse.

FPS fans should give it a try checking out KZ2 because this kind game can't be done in a PC and that is not because of the graphics but it is because the unique control the game has that does not make sense to play THIS game with a keyboard+mouse.

Dude seriously? Killzone 2 is f'n great! There is waaaay more oranges and reds in the game than there is greys. You've obviously never played it. Cod6 SoTY? Maybe...it's too early to tell. I will be buying it, but I have a feeling it will be just CoD4 with some different maps and an improved graphics engine. Also, ODST is one the horizon and it might worth checking out. We all know you're a fanboy, but D-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN, do you have to make it so obvious? I know it's the open zone and all, but is it really that hard to post something smart or something people can discuss about?
