October for PS3 Home, service detailed further

I’m hoping we’ve now covered the PS3 Home in sufficient detail for me to halt referring to it as ‘Home’. Just in case you missed last week’s various bombshells from Sony at the GDC, however, we learnt that Home was Sony’s persistent world console-based answer to MySpace – enriched with a full 3D world, in-world games, lashings of social interaction, TV, and more besides. We also now learn that Home should launch this October, with the initial download coming in at under 500MB, apparently.
