Well, I'd love to see SSBB on PS3, would certainly be awesome! I always enjoyed destroying people in Brawl, especially with Wolf :D

FarEastOrient5941d ago

I think SSBB is an impossibility but Dragon Quest IX and Monster Hunter should be a possibility!

ThanatosDMC5941d ago

Monster Hunter 3 ftw! I'll gladly put down 300+ hours on it.

gameplayingfool5941d ago

I like their selections.

They should have included Super Mario Galaxy. That game was a visual feast on Wii and would have been even more pretty on 360 of PS3.

dorron5941d ago

Any Super Mario and Zelda...I'm not excited by any other than those.

Anyway, where's the point in these lists? we all know it's never gonna happen...pointless.

TruthbeTold5941d ago

and it gives props to some excellent games. This type of attitude isn't seen often enough in the gaming community these days.

jimineyscrickets5941d ago

Everyone know these games are never going to appear on other consoles. The point of the article is hypothetical and points out great gaming accomplishments on the Wii. And yes, it WOULD be awesome to see these on more powerful consoles.

Anyway, have a good one.

SinnedNogara5941d ago

I disagree with the list because they didn't include any third party stuff other than NMH.

Waste of a list in my OPINION.

Elven65941d ago

World of Goo and No More Heroes would be pretty welcome.

PS360WII5941d ago

Well Suda and crew will be making PS3/360 games soon enough :)

Voiceofreason5941d ago

They already are making PS3/360 games... Haven been for over a year now.

PS360WII5941d ago

Marvelous Entertainment hasn't been making PS3/360 games. They are just starting too -.-

Voiceofreason5941d ago

WEll marvelous had nothing to do with either NMH or WOrld of Goo.
Here is a little info that came out around August last year for you.

"Redwood City, Calif – August 14, 2008 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) today announced a publishing agreement with iconic Japanese development studio Grasshopper Manufacture. Under the terms of the deal, EA Partners will publish an all-new action horror game produced by Shinji Mikami and directed by innovative game designer Suda51.

The title is being developed for the PC, Xbox 360® video game system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and Wii™.

"Grasshopper Manufacture is excited to work with EA Partners to bring our new title to gamers around the world," said Goichi Suda, CEO of Grasshopper Manufacture. "They are a great partner who shares our commitment to quality and innovation while respecting our independence as a studio, which is very empowering."

Notice its Suda making a horror game for 360 and PS3. He's been at it for a while. Just because some random article posted here says he just started or is going to start making 360/PS3 games doesnt mean you should take it as fact.

Dear God it's been 4 years since infinite and no official update on anything lol.

Tacoboto5h ago

No official update on anything?

They replaced studio leadership
They changed the studio name
They announced the change to UE5
... all while supporting Infinite

The support to Infinite isn't what it originally should have been but they've still been providing tons of official updates over the years, and as recently as two months ago added a brand new weapon.

Profchaos2h ago

Dev times in modern days 4 years of silence isn't unheard of when things are running smoothly.

And around 6 months ago 343 did show a tech demo of ue5 using halo assets so it's not radio silence.

Given all the shake ups i am more surprised we're getting anything next year at all.

RaidenBlack9h ago(Edited 9h ago)

They coulda started with Halo 3 remake ... I know Halo CE remaster was not proper with the art style but still, remaking after a remaster seems dull, when Halo 3 and Reach have started to show some age.

PhillyDonJawn4h ago

Yeah I hate they used Halo reach artstyle. Hope this remake feel authentic yet fresh

--Onilink--3h ago

Probably the simplest to work around with. They are reportedly doing it in UE5, so its just as much an Anniversary thing, as its probably the studio getting familiar and setting up their tools and processes in the engine with an actual game, to facilitate the development of the next Halo

Profchaos2h ago

I'm guessing combat evolved has a smaller scope in general the later half of the game features a ton of backtracking and reused assets making it a easier game to remake on a deadline

Its also a better choice if this is the first game to be multiplatform mind you I think it's pretty much a given that anyone with a passing curiosity has played this by now in some way be it pc or brought a used console for a few bucks

crazyCoconuts30m ago

They probably want to start PS players at the beginning

Top 5 game for me with a bit of bias.
Me and brother use to play this game everyday split screen.

Probably get it for the PS5 since that’s all he has.
Gonna be weird but fuck it.

darthv724h ago

This will likely come to PS5 at the same time. 25 years of XB.... shared with PS.

Obscure_Observer1h ago

It´s gonna be among best sellers on PS Store next year regardless.

I subscribed to this not knowing about how some of the proceeds go to St. Judes.

Really cool that some of the money goes there.

Even if people don't subscribe to the mag, it might bring people to the charity.

jznrpg2d ago

One of the main charities my wife and I donate to. They help a lot of children and being a parent of 5 children I can’t imagine what those parents go through. I’ll probably get a sub to GI because of St Jude and of course because I love video games.

It would be nice if they had the lottery in other parts of the world as well.

CrimsonWing692d ago

I’m hoping Xbox Showcase will be where the Remake gets announced… freaking all this stuff with FF9’s anniversary and still nothing on the Remake…
