"Generic brown-and-gray first-person shooters" may be a close second, but the open hand embracing non-games and their ilk when the Nintendo Wii was released has since been withdrawn and formed into a clenched fist. Nintendo's big announcement of Wii Music over any kind of traditional videogame adventure at the last Electronic Entertainment Expo seemed to be the last straw for many, and it's almost hard to see anything that will bring these people back into the fold."

Its “story”, if you can call it that, is far from deep and thought-provoking as some say it is, its duration is borderline insulting for its asking price, and it just doesn’t motivate you to replay it after you’re done with its half a dozen levels. Sadly, Flower isn’t as meaty as it should be. A fair point in a way, given it’s a game about plants…"
