Prey - Interview

If you haven't seen Prey in action yet, you really ought to take a look. For those who aren't familiar, it's a new first-person shooter with a sci-fi feel and an interesting take on boring old gravity - and it's heading to PC and Xbox 360 later this year.

So the xbox360 is already being surpassed by the pc? Im just shocked that the pc is already able to out perform the 360. Is this really the case or did the developer cut corners on the 360 version.

I played the PC demo lastnight this game is truelly amazing in every aspect, i was playin this game and sayin to myself holy crap are you kidding me some of the effects are amazing and will havig wondering omg how did they do that. Definately FPS of the year trully original in every way great game

ive got a 360,just been on xbox365.com and they said that the 360 version of prey,was runing at 30 frames per secand,why the pc version is runing at 60 frames per secand.im not spending 50 pounds of my money on a 360 version,while the pc one is twice as good.

I think you should wait for the 360 version and compare first, I played the PC version as well and it's unbelievable, running on walls, spirit walking is truly fun, and than all the gravity switches out of nowhere, and than going through the portals, it's soo cool, you all need to try it

Man, now I am more mad the demo was delayed.. I think thats why they released the GRAW multi maps early!!! Anyway I hope its out today!

the demo kicks ass. downloaded it for pc last night and played it over and over again. multiplayer rocks the hut.

Am I able to Download this to my PC? I have a HP Media edition 7210 05 model. I got it hooked up to a 32" LG LCD its bad ass but I have never played any game on my PC and am wondering how and if I can do this>?

yeah or off of gamespot, check to see if your system will qualify, you need a 2.5 MHZ processor or better, 1 MB ram, and certain graphics cards, it's supports quite a few, it supported mine and mine came from a box, although mine was the pimpest HP Media Center you could buy so yea

I got the same HP media center PC.. Yeah its the best one at Best Buy so cool I guess I'll download it after work along with GRAW Maps...thanks

Oh duh I didn't realize you said your model, lol, well I see ur from the UK, but yea u have a ATI Radeon GeForce 6200 series so your good, the minimum system requirements is 512 MB which seems standard on your model, if you have added more it will be even better

Maybe they don't fully understand how to program for the 360 yet. Every other game so far, that I've heard about, has looked better on 360 than pc. If we haven't seen a game utilizing the full power of the 360 than how can you expect these guys to do it, or even surpass it.

I agree with 9, have they coded it for 1 cpu (pc) or 2, 3, (360)? or is it a port of the pc? if so 1 cpu...and we get butt raped!!!

Well Oblivion looks better on PC and runs better as well like framerates and stuff but it is because it's far from tapped when it comes to the power of the 360, we'll see this christmas how games will look and early next year that's when you will see what the machine can do, GOW is the start of the next gen games for me, which is in October, well theirs a few titles between now and than that will be good like Prey
