ButtonMasher: R-Type Dimensions Review
R-Type plays as you would imagine a side scrolling shooter would. It can be extremely difficult at times but also very rewarding as you blow through a large pack of attacking enemies. Bosses at the end of each stage offer a goal to work toward which is crucial as you find yourself constantly dying or restarting the level. If you are the nostalgic type of person and you dropped a lot of ‘twenties’ on this game back in the 80’s this would be a worthwhile purchase.
