Maybe if the team gets another shot at Colour Cross in the future it can add a player creation element where user-made puzzles can then be shared with others via Wi-Fi and head-to-head challenges can take place to add to the game's longevity. For now, however, the £19.99 price-tag is not too bad for what is on offer

Thunderbolt: Colour Cross Review

All in all Colour Cross is a great example of a puzzle game. Offering puzzle difficulties to suit all generations, this could be the ideal family game. Not to mention that the simple addition of colour offers more aesthetically pleasing solutions over games like Picross DS. Sadly the game looses points for not having controls suitable for travelling and for having no extra game modes or interesting features.

GamesWeasel: Colour Cross Review

Colour Cross deserves the right to have its own existence, without being tossed to the side as a simple clone. It improves on the original, tightens it up and changes the game (literally). Newcomers to the Sudoku-esque puzzler world, fans of the original game and simply those looking for a mountain to climb will love picking this up.
