Life Force is a sensational scrolling shooter design from the age of the NES, one of the best the genre ever saw released on that system. It takes the basic foundations of Gradius -- itself already a great game -- and adds on extra layers of depth with the fresh inclusion of a two-player co-op mode and levels that scroll both horizontally and vertically. It's a ton of fun to play, especially with a friend, and it's a fantastic value to own in VC form for just five bucks. Highly recommended, everyone. Don't miss out on Life Force.

Despite hardware limitations, intrepid NES developers were able to make a massive variety of epic shoot-em-ups with gobs of enemies loosing salvoes of missiles and bullets at a hero and—magically—the system handled it all like a champ. Shmups on the NES rarely even experience any slowdown. Amazing!
Yes! That game brings back childhood memories. I didn't have an NES at that time, but a kid who lived at the same apartment complex did and he was pretty stingy with his video games. On a good day he would let me play some of his NES games at his place and Life Force was one I enjoyed playing. My brother and I had an Atari 7800 then a TG16 shortly after
Gun.Smoke was what I always played. Became too much at times with all the enemies and things flying at you from every direction, fun game though.
Crisis force, Gradius 2, over horizon, the three best shooters on the NES for me personally.

I haven't gotten a baseball game in a long time but The Show has been looking pretty amazing. Maybe if they come out with a VR version I'll check it out.
Just curious will Resident Evil 6 on PS4 also have co-op with 60 frames per second?
Yeah.. This can have 1080/60 but origins couldnt.. Thats some BS but this game is $20 and i never played it so ill probably give it a shot
