From the Review: "You’re a ninja; you sneak, you slide, you kill, and then you glide on out via passageways dimly lit by smoldering blue flames. That is the way of a true ninja… and about all there is in Tenchu: Shadow Assassins. Yes, the graphics certainly are top notch and I dig the motion controls, but they’ve turned Tenchu into more of a puzzle game than anything it once was. On top of that, the game moves at a dying slug’s pace, setting ridiculous time expectations to salt the wound. Trying to turn or aim can be as bad as Chinese water torture; slow, annoying, and it’ll eventually wear you down until you break into tears. Though the game shimmers like blood on Rikimaru’s kitana, it’s just not sharp enough to cut anything, including the mustard."
