This is a nice change of pace from all the Guitar Hero's and Call of Duty's. As long as they're interested in new IP's, I'm happy!

I am interested in is prototype and that is if Infamous doesn't do very well.

I'm afraid that Prototype could be repetitive. The goal of the game is to absorb as many memories as you can and kill person to person to find them. This is a game inside a very large city, so I am fearing that you will have to kill one person to another and that would eventually get too repetitive. I hope that this isn't random and that there are clues and location markers to who you have to kill, otherwise a player will go from one place to another and kill like 500 people and not progress very far through the game.

Radical have been making open world games for 12 years dude. Do you honestly honestly think a company who has worked on a game for 3 years, spent thousands on focus testing, would seriously make a game where they said 'right - we've hidden a bunch of plot-essential people in here - 500 to be exact - and we're going to make you take random pot-shots at who you have to consume and we don't care if you get bored?'

Dude - the game will have so much fun stuff to do and so much directed-content that you'll be up to your eye balls in fun for a year. relax!!

Im Always welcome to the idea of new IPs. I hope each one is amazing as they are made out to be.

Though I hope Activision knows what they are doing

Ranking The Coldest, Most Ruthless Protagonists In Gaming

Not all video game protagonists are sweet, jolly, or wholesome. Folks like Agent 47 are cold, ruthless, and reserved and it shows.

I'd like to believe Joel's situation is more about turning into a calloused survivor in a cold-hard world who may have made selfish decisions. Not inherently ruthless.

Ah, fond memories of strangling all the people in their hotel rooms in Hitman 1

Lara Croft, Nathan Drake etc, cos they pretend to be the good guys but are mass murderers that show no remorse.

6 Fun Games Where You Actually Play As The Bad Guy

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.

Profchaos417d ago

Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.

It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny

Armored Core VI?

Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.

Is something big coming soon to branch the story?

No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).

Trevor in GTA 6 is a sadist and psychopath who dabbles in cannibalism. Should be top of the list. These game “news” sites should hire people that know games.
