PSP is kicking ass in Japan,I can't believe the 360 is only barely outselling the Ps2

A year ago, it would have been a miracle to say that, even with PS2 sales decling, 360 sales were in the 2000's now it's in the 6-7 range.

But wow I though Ninja Blade would do better, under 10 K sold in it's first week, mind you it data is only for a few days...but still...360 have 800 000 K + system in japan, and under 10 k represents it sold to roughly 1.25% of it's owners.

PSP is doing very well, three games on the top five. Two NEW releases and a reprint that's pretty good

I think Japan is (ironically) proof that price isn't the only thing keeping the 360 in front around the rest of the world - it's cheaper in Japan than anywhere else and the Japanese still aren't interested. I don't think a price cut is really going to change that, they just need to keep on bringing out more titles the Japanese will appreciate and hope they come around.
Can't see it happening this generation, but maybe the next generation. the 1:2 sales ratio of 360:PS3 is still an order of magnitude better than the last generation.

hey look if you add PS3 and PS2 sales they sold a combined 22300 consoles. Isnt it the samethig with the DS? The PS brand is still moving strong in all regions. People need to realize that the PS3 is here to stay and will be king.

Is really start showing that the new gadget it was is passing by. With the new titles for the Sony Console i can only expect good sales for them. Maybe this is in Japan can be the year of PS3.

Dragon quest and monster hunter will be knockout blows for microsoft and sony it all depends on when they will be released.

Its funny to note that wii haters cheer when the wii is 'slowing down' but fail to realise it is still ahead. At least the wii actually sped up at a point in its life....
