It's one of the most difficult demos in recent memory. That, in and of itself, is exhilarating. However, couple that difficulty with minor ticks in functionality, and you've got a recipe for frustration.
Resident Evil 5 launched 15 years ago today - and it continues to stand as a stepping stone from the good to the bad.
One of my favourites because of the co-op. Then Resi 6 arrived and the series nosedived further.
I enjoyed the game co-oping with a friend I know the game in solo the AI can be an idiot but RE5 is way better then RE6. I played RE6 with a friend if it wasn't cheap when I got I would have avoided RE6.
5 was excellent, still play Mercs with my brother.
I would love a fully remastered RE:5, with some added, reworked content. The DLC for 5 was also excellent.
6 was awful.
I never understood why the game was misunderstood. It was a fantastic game at launch and is still fun today to play. It’s as action packed as Resident Evil 4 was, yet that’s regarded a masterpiece 🤷♂️
it was "misunderstood" because they introduced co-op into the franchise at a time when people loved to have fake rage about co-op. like, you could play the game as a solo experience, but people chose to have their bandwagon rage because it was cool at the time lol
Try to cope with your friend through terror with this list featuring the best horror Co-Op games you can play today.
An exploration of whether RE5 is truly the most logical next step for a remake, or whether there are others in line who deserve their day in the sun.
Remake of Resident evil outbreak as well as file 2. Same gameplay as the recent remakes. Choose what ever character you want to play as. With online co op.
Nope.
Rather remake other past Capcom & non-mainline RE games ... IF they have to continue churning out Remakes.
I'd rather want a new 3rd person RE spin-off
Dino Crisis and Onimusha Reboot
New IPs after Pragmata ships
many of the same gripes i ahd while playing, hopefully some of these get tweaked...especially the ammo
I quit playing the demo very fast all due to controls and mainly the way camera moves, very bad implementation of what could be a great game but trashed because this issues.
.
At Below
it might be me i missed it
i could'nt find it
Its always the first thing i do
For all you noobs.
Here's a strategy.
1 shot to the head>>walk up>>hit X (type D 360 Controller)>>walk up>>Hit X again.
Thats 1 shot per person and you can even kill multiple people if you align them up when you melee.
If you haven't done so..
Turn your Aiming Speed on FASTEST because default is very slow and fastest is the best.
Haven't played the Ps3 demo but if Type D is the same as the 360's I feel sorry because the R2 on the DS3 sucks ass.
You'd be better off changing the control scheme.
People approach RE5 like noobs all it takes is learning.
The chainsaw fight there is a Electric breaker box on the light pole at the bottom of the steps where the chainsaw guy first appears..
Unlike Gas Barrels the breaker box can be used an unlimited amount of times just shoot it down then shoot it on the ground.
This game takes strategy Ammo isn't to be sprayed but strategically used.
This game is easy when you learn.
