WorldofWar.net has the book description and the first chapter of the upcoming pocket book titled World of Warcraft: Arthas, Rise of the Lich King. The book is a Wrath of the Lich King tie-in that reveals the secrets of the past and present of Matthias Lehner and Arthas Menethil.
Blizzard may have accidentally revealed the release date for Wrath of the Lich King Classic with an edit to the expansion's product page.
The random dungeon finder existed in the original Wrath of the Lich King. It needs to exist in Classic Wrath as well.
BLG writes: "To celebrate the announcement of Dragonflight, the latest World of Warcraft expansion, we decided to rewatch all the game’s cinematics and rank them from worst to best. Including the latest one, of course. In fact, we purposely waited until the new expansion got announced before putting together this list because we wanted to see how the Dragonflight trailer stacked up against all the other WoW cinematics. Spoiler alert: it’s not amazing, but it's not the worst one either."
Oh, an absolute MUST for lore-nerds like me =)
I'm actually a bit pissed off that they plan to kill off Arthas in WotLK.
If you have done the Icecrown quests, you will be amazed by this book. The lengthy questline of Matthias Lehner in Icecrown is among the best in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
Matthias Lehner's quests allows you to play as Arthas twice. The first one to kill 100 footmen and rise them as undead as you fight more waves of footmen. The quest is titled Army of the Damned.
The second quest that allows you to control Arthas is The Hunter and the Prince -- right in front of the Icecrown Citadel. You fight Illidan the Betrayer in that Warcraft III: Frozen Throne scene where Arthas and Illidan duel.
The questline ends with Arthas the Lich King and Tirion Fordring facing each other at the Cathedral of Darkness in icecrown.
Yay definately have to get this I think, sounds pretty awesome.
What I wouldn't give to get my hands on that book...
I am actually Arthas. This whole game was based on me
