so having a button dedicated to opening a chat feature is not the same as having a button dedicated to capturing a screenshot for sharing? Where is the functionality different there?

Last I checked the share button doesn't need an active Plus subscription to work and streaming directly for friends to watch on PS is entirely free and it also doesn't run at 10 frames.
