Richard Bailey Jr. of The Koalition writes: Remedy Entertainment announced FBC: Firebreak back in the Summer of 2021. Described as a team-based player vs. environment first-person shooter, Firebreak is Remedy’s first multiplayer game set within the connected Control universe.
Firebreak is Remedy’s answer to the coop bandwagon. It’s also the developer’s first title to launch day-1 on Steam. Unfortunately, it’s a repetitive mess lacking content with bits and pieces recycled from Control. Firebreak features ray-tracing and path-tracing (full ray-tracing), backed by upscaling, frame generation, and multi-frame generation.
Skewed and Reviewed have posted video of the game in action.
Richard Bailey Jr. of The Koalition writes: When I previewed FBC: Firebreak at Summer Game Fest Play Days, I walked away more than impressed with Remedy’s first multiplayer game.
