The company did issue a warning, that these copies are without crucial day 1 patches and will run into issues.
Not saying the game's gonna be good, just stating a fact.

I miss the days when they didn't hold back a portion of the game to sell you later as DLC

Oh yeah that was great when they shipped games with bugs they will never fix. I used to love playing Rainbow Islands up to the last world only for it to crash at different points every damn time.

Most games these days have issues at launch. But not having the day one patch it is obvious that there will be more issues.

No. There will be a freeroam mode later, but the campaign is pretty much on rail

I wanted this to be good, because the initial trailers reminded me of 90s styled techno/cyberpunk thrillers like Johnny Mnemonic, Freejack, Strange Days and so on. Even a bit of Neuromancer in the way it's sci-fi but not at all Blade Runner. I love that stuff, grounded realistic sci-fi.

But then you get all the reports of a bad work enviroment, the nft spin-off platform and the broken guided previews. Seems like a disaster waiting to happen. But I hope it's atleast decent, even if it seems unlikely.

And THIS is why you have to wait on buying new games.
