Early copies of MindsEye are out in the wild, and the first player impressions suggest that the game suffers from major technical issues.

At Summer Game Fest, Build A Rocket Boy and IO Interactive dropped a thrilling new trailer for MindsEye, showcasing heart-pounding combat, a gripping near-future world, and the emotional journey of protagonist Jacob Diaz. The trailer culminated in a jaw-dropping reveal: the legendary Agent 47 from IO Interactive’s Hitman franchise will join MindsEye as a playable character in a post-launch MindsEye x Hitman collaboration mission, set to launch in July 2025.

The company did issue a warning, that these copies are without crucial day 1 patches and will run into issues.
Not saying the game's gonna be good, just stating a fact.
Most games these days have issues at launch. But not having the day one patch it is obvious that there will be more issues.
Is this a sandbox game?
I wanted this to be good, because the initial trailers reminded me of 90s styled techno/cyberpunk thrillers like Johnny Mnemonic, Freejack, Strange Days and so on. Even a bit of Neuromancer in the way it's sci-fi but not at all Blade Runner. I love that stuff, grounded realistic sci-fi.
But then you get all the reports of a bad work enviroment, the nft spin-off platform and the broken guided previews. Seems like a disaster waiting to happen. But I hope it's atleast decent, even if it seems unlikely.
And THIS is why you have to wait on buying new games.
