There’s a bunch of ways to cure it. Cure disease potion, mandrake root, talk to a priest. There was a house on DLC with a pool and salts too but I forget the name of it now.
You need to pay attention to when you sleep, it will say you contracted a disease and give you an icon for it when you wake up sometimes.

These people aren’t paying attention at all and could easily cure vampirism if you are paying attention. You have 2 or 3 days to cure it before they make you do the long quest for cure so pay attention.

They should be happy. Elder scrolls, like pokemon is one of those games that is so much more fulfilling when you have no idea what's going on.
