After being delayed, Killing Floor III has set a July 24th release date for the team-based horror shooter.

Definition of DOA: they tossed out everything that made Killing Floor actually feel like Killing Floor, just to chase half-baked trends from generic hero shooters. Trash the soul, follow the fad, brilliant.

The test sessions with the public apparently did not go well so they made changes based on the feedback and delayed the game. So hopefully things were improved.

Yea seemed weird
(not a KF veteran but I appreciate the franchise)

I thought the France segment of 2 was good but elements got old fast for me. So hoping this moves the franchise forward.

This is the one co op fps I hope is at least good. So much have been such letdowns and unfortunately this game seems likely to be the same.

The development team seems open to feedback so that helps.

I think you may be able to try it solo.

It seems like they took out the stuff that made it killing floor. It's like it was made by UK Devs: pandering to the easily offended, woke garbage.

What exactly was removed as it seems that gore, guns, and creatures still remain and that is the core.

Well for starters the Siren is completely different, the character banter is next to non existent and toned down a lot, nothing like the first game. The second game already started toning it down, this third entry from what I've heard is even more toned down with generic sounding voices.

Then there's the Stalker, no signs of it.. I think we all know why, because the model will be significantly different to the original, like the Siren.

It's just watered down a lot. I mean it might still be enjoyable, I'll wait and see what the gameplay is like but if it's too easy and becomes repetitive real fast then forget it. Tired of repetition in games like L4D2 and KF now, they need to up the ante.

Is this based on the Beta before the delay?
