I do appreciate the changes to the levelling system in the remaster which lessens the hassle of min/max with regards to effects class skills have on attributes(missed these in Skyrim).

The level scaling is still a problem though as you end up with crappy uniques if you find them low level. They did fix this with regards to items from one of the DLCs but it should be across the board.

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

Michiel19898d ago

funny that you say that. That would make you the Titanic since you're having a crashout over this game performing well.

anast8d ago

strange comment...Maybe it's the way you write or your intentions or something, but most of the time I don't understand your comments

attilayavuzer8d ago

It's not healthy to be this upset at people having fun.

The changes are good as they did some enhancements. I like it.

With Zero Marketing Costs!

Congrats to Todd and everyone at Bethesda and Team Xbox!

“With Zero Marketing Costs!”

There’s sponsored ads on PlayStation. Not quite zero.

Sonyslave31d 4h ago

This game was shadow drop

P_Bomb1d 3h ago

I know. I bought it. But since then, I’ve seen marketing on the PlayStation store as well as YouTube. As recently as today.

anast7h ago

@slave

It wasn't a shadow-drop. Like Bethesda always does, but this time instead of modding, they used the fans to market the game so they didn't have to pay for it and then announced it a day before the actual release backed by a sizeable interest from intentional leaks. People got suckered into marketing the game for them and they stepped on everyone by announcing it a day before to capitalize on the 'free' marketing. Fallout Shelter was an actual shadow drop.

And P_Bomb is correct, it costs them to market their stuff on PSN.

Of course, this game was beloved by many.
Oblivion will always be my favorite elderscroll.

It would actually be more impressive if it didn’t sell well.

-Foxtrot1d 2h ago

Hopefully that physical version comes out soon. I’m half way through Infinite Wealth so I’m hoping it becomes an actual thing by the time I’m finished.

Tacoboto14h ago

It's over 120GB. That physical copy isn't happening.

-Foxtrot12h ago

And discs can fit in 100GB

Can easily download the rest

Besides the box art was leaked before the announcement. Everything else came true from those leaks, why not that 🤷🏻‍♂️

babadivad12h ago

It will just be a download key.

It's best for the hyper enthusiasts and I'm one of them.

PlayStation Store: April 2025’s top downloads

It’s time to see which PS5, PS4, PS VR2, and free-to-play games topped the PlayStation Store download charts last month.

April saw a lot of action among the top spots. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and Forza Horizon 5 broke into the top three for the U.S. and EU PS5 charts, while Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate dominated the PS VR2 charts across the board.

Xbox reigns supreme at Playstation!

I wonder what was the reaction from Sony´s first party investors to those numbers and what they plan to do next.

VersusDMC1d 3h ago

Yeah I'm pretty sure Sony investors are just as concerned as when Sega started releasing games on the PS2...pretty sure the sentiment is "Another one bites the dust".

pwnmaster30001d 3h ago (Edited 1d 3h ago )

This dude is having a full melt down since the whole gears announcement lmao.
You think tears rolled down his eyes when he writes this lol

I’m honestly impress how Xbox fanboys can always spin shit. I guess they had alot of practice lol

Obscure_Observer1d 2h ago

"Yeah I'm pretty sure Sony investors are just as concerned as when Sega started releasing games on the PS2...pretty sure the sentiment is "Another one bites the dust"."

With their new games legging behind Xbox games in their own territory? Playstation gamers turned into "Xbox gamers" while Satya Nadella beats his chest on how they now have 500 Million MAU?

No, I don´t think so.

No dude, I don´t think they´re happy at all!

VersusDMC1d ago

"With their new games legging behind Xbox games in their own territory?"

Forza got outsold by minecraft and Indiana jones got outsold by DMCV on the list so those numbers are weak.

Oblivion is number 1 for the month but i doubt it even had a better launch on PS5 than astro bot.

There is no lagging behind xbox games until they start selling 3 to 5 million on PS5 like ghost, spider man, GOW, etc...

Traecy1d 2h ago

LOL! Most of those games are 3rd party games that were already on PS consoles except Forza.

pwnmaster30001d 3h ago

I know expedition 33 is up there but it honestly deserves to be #1 on all platform. Game is fantastic

DivineHand1251d 1h ago

The top 3 games are Microsoft published titles. Looks like they had a good month. I don't follow Minecraft but how can that game be selling so well for over a decade?

badz14923h ago

some games just keep selling and some other games keep getting lots of MAU and some others keep making money. it's just how things are in gaming.

badz14922h ago

I need to check out Wanderer for PSVR2. how come there's almost no marketing for this game?

Knushwood Butt20h ago

Days Gone did pretty well considering it only came out on the 25th or 26th of April.
