While Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 features an array of interesting characters, the players unanimously agree and who the best character of them all is.
I actually like all of the characters. It's part of what makes the game good. No annoying cast like in the new Dragon age or Saints Row games.
Personally I like Lune best. The friendship between Verso and Monoco is also funny.
Maelle is my favorite, but by a very small margin. I like all the crew, and I kinda hate having to choose the team and putting people on the bench. Would have loved for a quick swap like FFX or an extra character slot in battle.
I'm impressed at the likability of EVERY character in the game. Yes, I like some more than others, but they are all so interesting and unique in their own way. Plus, none of them are annoying. This is a testament to the excellent writing and character design by Sandfall. My GOTY to far.
