There may be life for it. On playstation :)

With Sony constantly hiking PlayStation Plus subscription prices? No way, they're just going to push more players to PC. It's cheaper in the long run anyway. Amazon Prime gives you free games, and so does the Epic Games Store. It's basically cheaper subscribing to Humble Bundle

Eh not really if you sell your games

I like my games optimized and ready to play. Ps is the way to go for me. I work all day on the pc already. No gracias.

I'm pretty confident this game didn’t sell all that well, and it sure didn’t move the needle on Game Pass subscriptions. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great game, but the PC requirements are pretty high and the IP isn’t exactly popular these days.

Maybe a PS5 or Switch 2 release will give it a second shot at relevance, but honestly, I wouldn’t bet lunch money on a sequel.

Playstation owners buy games.

Strange seeing Hogwarts there as I downloaded it for my son from PS Plus a couple of days ago.

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle Feels Perfect on the PS5

If you didn’t catch Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at the end of last year on an Xbox Series X or PC, the PS5 version is worth it.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on PS5: excellent game, solid port

The PS5 and PS5 Pro ports of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle lack much in the way of new features - but the game is still golden.

Hope there is a sequel planned. This game is better than expected.

Port? I mean, it's a multi-console game that was just delayed for one of the consoles. If the next COD was a timed exclusive you wouldn't call it a port would you?

coolbeans4d ago

"Port" has been casually used like DF is doing here for some time. It's pretty innocuous, even if doing a 'port job' from PC/Xbox architecture to PlayStation architecture isn't the arduous task it used to be. Just take the title for what it is: MachineGames didn't rush to get this version out (according to DF).

I don’t think we need to get too pedantic about the use of the word port, the word itself is not a pejorative, it’s a bad port that is deserving of criticism. If a game is released on a platform after the release on other platforms, and was not developed in tandem with them, then it’s a port.

This was my personal GOTY on PC. I wish more game companies would use ID Tech 7 or 8 for their games and just abandon Unreal Engine 5 and any future ones from Epic.

If there was a third person option I would've definitely bought it.

MIDGETonSTILTS173d ago

You’re missing out. The 1st person perspective is better suited for exploring the detailed environments, and helps you get the best view possible of the puzzles..

Flewid6383d ago

Yeah but missing out is a better experience than not having fun.
