This better have all the bugs and crazy dialogue that made the original goated or else count me out 😤

I remember the duping glitch on ps3 saving me from having to actually scrounge herbs for alchemy.

Even if they try, there'll probably be a lot of bugs.

Might as well start posting about a rumored New Vegas remake it's claimed to be releasing in time for Fallout season 2. Get those clicks going now! /s

This whole thing has been a cheap and cynical marketing stunt. They plant rumors of a remake for months to generate buzz. Now that the date draws near its suddenly "Oh bee tee dubs, it's a remaster, not a remake." My guess is that they're hoping most people won't be aware of the change because remasters have been considered cynical cash grabs as opposed to remakes that actually make the game better. Most people are going to pass on the 4k version of the same game and they know it.

Bethesda is better than ever under Xbox.

Here´s hoping they will transition from Creation Engine to UE5 or UE6 for TES VI and Fallout 5 the same way they did with Oblivion Remastered

andy856d ago

Better than ever? They've released an average game in Starfield and an absolute disaster in Redfall. Now don't get me wrong I love Oblivion but "under Xbox"? they've prettied up a game the actual talent created 20 years old and have since left. Stellar new experiences remain to be seen for that better than ever tag.

Didn´t known that Todd Howard left Bethesda. Besides, bring actual proof that the devs behind Oblivion left, because I think you´re on some lying bullsh!t here. I´ll wait.

Redfall and Starfield were made way before MS bought them.

Would Bethesda still be the same without Creation Engine? I play Bethesda games for their “charm” no need to make them use the same tools as everyone else. You’re right though, they’re on fire atm. Hopefully they deliver another classic with ES6

Also the Skyblivion team invited to Bethesda Studios, now that is a dev I can respect.

Unlike some other studios who are pieces of shit along with Nintendo.

It's definitely closer to a remake as well and for only $50 when they definitely could've charged $70 and still sell very well because of the name. Good on bethesda.

Imagine what RDR2 remaster would do. If the rumors are true about Red Dead and GTA4 remake just buy Take 2 stock now

I love how everyone says Bethesda is back. No. The company that made this game has proven they are AAA status when it comes to remaking games. They deserve 90% of the credit.
Though I’ll give Bethesda credit for allowing it to happen.

I do WISH they had t dropped it at the same f time as Clair Obscura, literally the best new IP in years.

Did they fix the game yet or did the modders already fix it?

Modder turns Oblivion Remastered into a "true" first-person experience with immersive camera tweak

A modder unhappy with how the first-person camera view was implemented in Oblivion Remastered decided to make a better one (with a few bugs).

anast6d ago

Of course they did. Bethesda should do an RPG maker at this point.

True first person is just adding the Unreal Engine VR mod. Runs perfectly!
