Console Users Waiting on a Patch That Fixes the Severe Frame Rate Drop in Oblivion Remaster

Console users have been suffering from an issue that causes a severe frame rate drop in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster for a while now, and they are still waiting on a fix.

“Speaking of Digital Foundry, they said they contacted Bethesda about the performance issues and Bethesda said they have found the source of the problem and are testing a solution for it. That was [weeks] ago now though, so hopefully it won’t be much longer until we get something.”

Hmm. So any day now? I haven’t had too much of an issue but I’ve barely touched the main quest. Just cleared off all the guilds. Gonna jump back in soon. Hopefully with a little luck on my side.

I'm more concerned with the vanishing saves memory leak. How about fixing that first and foremost.

Bethesda is better than ever under Xbox.

Here´s hoping they will transition from Creation Engine to UE5 or UE6 for TES VI and Fallout 5 the same way they did with Oblivion Remastered

Better than ever? They've released an average game in Starfield and an absolute disaster in Redfall. Now don't get me wrong I love Oblivion but "under Xbox"? they've prettied up a game the actual talent created 20 years old and have since left. Stellar new experiences remain to be seen for that better than ever tag.

Didn´t known that Todd Howard left Bethesda. Besides, bring actual proof that the devs behind Oblivion left, because I think you´re on some lying bullsh!t here. I´ll wait.

Redfall and Starfield were made way before MS bought them.

Would Bethesda still be the same without Creation Engine? I play Bethesda games for their “charm” no need to make them use the same tools as everyone else. You’re right though, they’re on fire atm. Hopefully they deliver another classic with ES6

Also the Skyblivion team invited to Bethesda Studios, now that is a dev I can respect.

Unlike some other studios who are pieces of shit along with Nintendo.

It's definitely closer to a remake as well and for only $50 when they definitely could've charged $70 and still sell very well because of the name. Good on bethesda.

Imagine what RDR2 remaster would do. If the rumors are true about Red Dead and GTA4 remake just buy Take 2 stock now

I love how everyone says Bethesda is back. No. The company that made this game has proven they are AAA status when it comes to remaking games. They deserve 90% of the credit.
Though I’ll give Bethesda credit for allowing it to happen.

I do WISH they had t dropped it at the same f time as Clair Obscura, literally the best new IP in years.

Did they fix the game yet or did the modders already fix it?
