Since FromSoftware owns the Duskbloods IP and not Nintendo, the possibility of a PC port is higher than that of Bloodborne.

Since they own the IP I think it will come to PC and Playstation since PlayStation owns stocks in their company anyway

Sony helped them not be acquired by someone else

Hypertension14017d ago

I already knew it was coming to other platforms the second it was announced.

Since it said exclusive to Nintendo switch you didn't you just hoped

"Since they own the IP I think it will come to PC and Playstation since PlayStation owns stocks in their company anyway"

Nintendo´s fully paying for this game´s development and marketing expenses, so the chances you´re going to see it hitting the Playstation are good as Bayonetta 3 coming to PS5 or Xbox. The fact Sony owns stocks in their company doesn´t mean they´re entitled to any special treatment or privileges.

Now, I'm not saying you're wrong, but being the majority shareholder does apply to the potential contracts one would make. I wouldn't count it out as a timed exclusivity, but it could still be entirely exclusive. I'm not sure that would be beneficial for FromSoftware, though. I think it will eventually make its way to PC, at the least.

neutralgamer199217d ago

Yes sir but you do realize that from software own the IP. They can do whatever they want. Look at death stranding on Xbox

TheColbertinator16d ago

Bayonetta 3 has exclusive publishing rights with Nintendo and nobody else while Sega owns the IP, not Platinum Games. Very different situation from Duskbloods.

Duskbloods is owned by FromSoftware so it can hit Steam or anywhere eventually.

@Neutral
Kojima had to aquire the Death Stranding rights and only got them last year.

*** Kojima had to aquire the Death Stranding rights and only got them last year. ***

You're proving his point with this statement. The fact they own the IP, they can do what they want in so far as contracts will allow and Nintendo doesn't own publishing rights. We won't know the extent of the contract until a year or so after release.

“Pc release is possible unlike Bloodborne?”

Ok that’s fine then. But why did I finish Bloodborne at 120fps on my PC last week if it isn’t possible?

PrinceOfAnger17d ago

PC got the remastered version of Bloodborne.

Sony removed 60 fps on PS5/4
for some reason $$ !

anast17d ago

With tons of crashes and PS4 emulator problems.

gold_drake17d ago

sooo, the exclusivity is timed then. gotcha

Goodguy0117d ago

PC should've also been day one considering the success of elden ring. Huge amount of sales.

LoveSpuds17d ago

I am not sure how much explicit than 'Exlusively available on Nintendo Switch 2" the language needs to be. Seems to be a good dollop of wishful thinking going on.

People are to used to the Xbox model apparently of exclusive just means not exclusive

"The concept itself was different from anything FromSoftware had done before"

Maybe when more info is released this game will get alot more attention. Right now I'm not seeing much revolt from other players wanting this to be multiplat. I bet that will change...
