The UK's latest physical games chart is here, and Assassin's Creed Shadows is still top of the pile.
It's number one for the second week in a row, with 84 per cent of the boxed copies sold being the PS5 version.
While this is only physical sales in one country, it's clear the game is performing well for Ubisoft — a much needed win after a rocky 2024. In terms of digital sales, the game is reportedly killing it on PS Store, too.
As spotted by modder Sliderv2 on X, Assassin’s Creed Shadows may be adding a multiplayer mode, based on findings in the game’s files.
Ubisoft has spilled the beans on Assassin's Creed Shadows' post-launch support, providing a roadmap for upcoming content.
There's actually quite a lot to get through. First off, there are some pretty big updates in the works, which aim to bring more story-related stuff and fan-requested features to the release.
I'll be picking it up as soon as the complete edition goes on a deep sale. I would buy their stuff day one if they didn't cut up their games into tiers.
HELL YEAH!!!!
Plenty of amazing and HIGHLY requests features on our way!
I can´t wait for Naoe´s new parkour skills, Bo Staff and Ultimate Hardcore difficulty on New Game +!!!
Two protagonists and a stunning setting—but does Assassin's Creed Shadows finally win over a longtime skeptic like me? Hmmm...
Astro Bot still kickin it with physical at 3rd. That's great considering there's a PS5 Bundle out there with a digital version of the game for free. Atomfall well done and Shadows to keep on keeping on
Nice job AC Shadows. 👏 Not bad for Atomfall. It's clunky at times but it is fun. I can't deny that. Well deserved.
Sure... because we are talking about AC but the fact that PS5 is dominating physical game sales so hard can only be blamed on MS' GP strategy. Overally its harmful to the industry if consumers stop buying games.
Seems like Sony owners are holding out for physical copies while PC and xbox prefer didgital at this point.
