I dunno I'm cautious about this game. I don't think it'll be that good tbh.

Profchaos30d ago (Edited 30d ago )

I'm wishlisted and remaining optimistic but it does look dated in key areas however the story and world may be enough to make up for it I don't know I'm waiting for some reviews

It's the animations I think for me that seem jarring like at 25 seconds the main character walks towards hist mate but his t shirt crinkles appear than disappear I get they want to simulate material moving but it's done in a on off way that doesn't really work it looks more like pop in than movement

It could be very good but just observing the tracking and marketing I dunno, it seems like everything is rushed.

Announced for June, Pre orders up now. Quick cuts of gameplay edits. No deep dive or interviews. I know these things could come a little later. The major marketing pitch is ex GTA devs. As if this game could be the alternative to GTA or sharing some sort of GTA spotlight of sorts to generate hype and get sales.

The game pretty much just came outta no where. Visually it looks fine enough but we don't know how good the actual game will be or how long the game will be.

I could be dead wrong, I hope I am because the does look interesting. I'm just cautious surrounding the buzz and marketing.

Seems a little suspicious but again, maybe, maybe not.

I’m thinking that this will be good. If it isn’t, then yes. Rockstar was correct in stating that he didn’t contribute much to their success.

The whole thing was really ugly. There’s different articles, here’s a quick one that I found regarding his departure from Rockstar.

That’s missing quite a bit of descriptors in comparison. So uh… not really.

This is the type of game that true gamers have at the top of their lists to buy (pending reviews)

It's new, it's trying something different and it's a new single player third person shooter. Those games have been very few and far between lately.

Hope this turns out to be a sleeper hit like Sleeping Dogs

I hope its good and successful and all that but my hype level is at meh for this.

CrimsonWing6928d ago

One thing that weirds me out are the shadows under the cars not looking right.

I mean the game looks cool, but yea, I’m not blasting off into the sky with hype for it. When it comes out I’ll give it a look, maybe wait for a sale, it all just depends.

I'm very intrigued by this game it's clearly a lower budget the animations look a little dated but good maybe I think it's hard to tell. I'll be waiting for reviews but I've absolutely wishlisted

The_Blue29d ago

Some movements and animations look ripped from GTA V

Profchaos29d ago (Edited 29d ago )

Yeah at 25 seconds the main bloke is walking towards his mate his tshirt is meant to be wrinkled as he walks to simulate motion but the transition looks more like pop in than motion

And there's many instances of this

coolbeans30d ago

"Revive?" It may not be *as* prominent today, but who's pretending that style has been utterly dormant?

Ninver29d ago

I'll give it a go as long as it's a 7 and up. Time is precious nowadays
