Upcoming PS5 Bundle's Price and Details Leaked

The Astro Bot PS5 bundle will launch on March 13 according to noted video game industry insider billbil-kun. There will be two editions available to purchase, both of which include a digital copy of the game. The insider suggests there will be a Standard console bundle which features a disc drive and a Digital console bundle. In the U.S., these will be priced at $449.99, and $399.99 respectively.

Currently, PS5 consoles cost $499.99 and $449.99 for the disc drive and digital versions respectively. This means these bundles, which includes last year’s Game of the Year, are being sold at a $50 discount. Including the price of the game ($59.99), customers are actually saving $110.

A saving of $110 is nice for a bundle. These should sell well

The problem is that retailer have imported months ago so here we won't see the pricedrop. They will sit on the stock until ps6 and then discount it.

If you don't mind me asking... what country are you referring to?

DivineHand12556d ago (Edited 56d ago )

This is actually a good bundle. Sony should consider doing bundles of game of the year titles at some point.

I still play Astro Bot to this date dispite playing the game at launch. A new level came out yesterday and I plan on playing it either later today after work or tomorrow morning if I have the time. I wish other studios supported their games like this and what Team Asobi is doing is showing emmence gratitude to it's fans.

Maybe with games like No Mans Sky and Astro Bot having legs since there is continued support more devs see the financial benefit of free updates and it becomes more common.

$110 saving, that's a sweet deal

All consoles should include a game imo, at least $20 to the store

A Surprising Number of PlayStation Players Have the Platinum Trophy in Astro Bot

Usually, the percentage of players who have a Platinum Trophy for any given game is pretty low, somewhere in the single digits.

P_Bomb182d ago (Edited 182d ago )

20.1% as of this writing. People are sticking around for the optional challenge levels and the Hidden Galaxy. More than I expected.

Profchaos182d ago

Not even just that once you 100 percent the game there's the final challenge run and it doesn't play around honestly it took me 30 odd times to complete that run

Starman69182d ago

Worth it in the end though 😎👌

lukasmain182d ago (Edited 182d ago )

I actually had more trouble with THAT Lava level one. That took me longer than the final challenge lol

Cacabunga182d ago

Where can I find the extra speedrun levels?

Profchaos182d ago

They are being released one at a time based on a schedule weekly

DivineHand125182d ago

When the update dropped, there should be a new system that pops up on your map. It will look like a yellow clock. So far the galaxy only 2 levels have been released but in about it should all be filled out in 3 weeks.

I already Platinumed it TWICE! it's a very fun game. I might try to Platinum it again on another account later

NotoriousWhiz182d ago

Use mine. J/k. I hope to add Astro soon to my list of platinums.

badz149181d ago

hahaha...wish away. there is plenty on offer in the game, but I ended up wanting more. the game is very good, and I wished there were more levels to play and more bots to save. I am letting my kids play it where I help them with the challenge levels if they find it to be too hard.

I've asked my 6 year old grandson id like this for christmas, im 53 and im going to love it, ill let him play too if he can fit it in around fortnite

Psychonaut85182d ago

I will say that if you naturally have a completionist bent, PlayStation first party stuff tends to have reasonably accessible platinums. They don’t typically require multiple playthroughs or have trophies with really arbitrary objectives. Typically, some exceptions like the first Last of Us.

badz149181d ago

Uncharted 4 was a bit tedious for me though. still haven't got back to it after all these years. but I did make sure I got all the MP trophies back then

Knightofelemia181d ago

If the game is fun and you are having fun trophy hunting the game then yes its worth a platinum. I have the game I just have to find time to sit down and actually play it. From what I have seen and heard it's suppose to be a fun game. I mean I had fun playing the Astro game that came with my PS5.
