She'll forever be known as a character from the Spawn comic books. Angela, an angel that hunts Hellspawn.

Yeah, personally, I liked her more with Image than marvel.
It's the same as I liked Wildstorm characters with Image more than DC.

But that's one of the downsides of a company that doesn't have a hierachy (at that time). Infighting and stealing from each other can tank any company

Yeah, those days were wild at Image. And while I did felt actual disappointment, and felt let down by Jim Lee selling Wildstorm to DC, and Joe Madureira abandoning Battle Chasers for Darksiders, and J. Scott Cambell, Travis Charest, and Stephen Platt disappearing, and.... Well, you know how it all went. I'm glad that image at least came out the other side as a much better company for independent artists to do their projects at. And I'm glad it has become what it is today. Lots of amazing stuff coming out of there for sure.

Still, I will never get over how dirty DC and Jim Lee did The Authority. Wow, that was sad...

Oh most definitely,

Things are better for them now for sure no question. It's just that so many older IP are either flat out dead or just reduced to sideshows. Like Savage Dragon and Shadowhawk.

I won't want to put the whole Image infighting on one person, But I'll just say this one person is a big reason everything went south at the time.

Edit, as for Jim Lee and the DC/ Authority thing, the problem with that is Jim Lee is becoming what he once despised. Part of why Image was even a thing was because a group of artists and writers didn't like how Marvel and DC did business. So Lee is basically in that "live long enough to be the villain" phase.
