Killzone Deserves More Than A Helldivers 2 Crossover

I would really like a remastered killzone trilogy on ps5. I wouldn't mind even just a killzone 2 remake or remastered with multiplayer but I think it's time for sony to revisit the franchise and do something big.

KZ2 was and still is masterclass.
KZ3 was great too but KZ2 had a better multi.
SF was not as great but solid game still.

We just want KZ2 remake!

Don't leave out that Vita game (Mercenaries?). That game was phenomenal. I rank it between KZ2 and 3.

The isometric game on PSP was a blast too. Had a really solid feel to it. Hope that gets a release on PS Plus Premium.

Killzone 2 was INSANE when it came out. The look/graphics were so far ahead of everything else at the time and the story and gameplay were top tier. It still looks better than a lot of games that release now.

Kill Zone using the tech and skills they have now, combined with the Hardware from the PS5 and Pro with a really solid multiplayer to accompany the campaign? That would be a knock out of the park. That little chime sound you got in KZ MP for kills still lives rent free in my head, so satisfying.

Feel like a quality KZ2 remake with solid MP would be a good seller and also help fill in a gap PS has had for some time. It's a strong franchise, I understand it died for a reason but I think it was due to market saturation which isn't the case now.

Not an fps guy, but I really enjoyed KZ2's multi.

That said, I think it's worth asking if Guerilla should be the one making it, or should it be in another studio's hands? Either approach is fine, but I wonder if another first party studio or Guerilla offshoot could build upon the old mechanics for a new audience better

As I always say remake the first, and do a grand remaster of the second and third single player components.

Make a full on remake of the multiplayer for the second and third as a complete MP game, with all the different levels of both, with the ability to play with the heavy feel of KZ2 or the lighter feel of KZ3 in separate game modes to keep the game balanced.

I know GG said they are pretty much done with KZ, only want to do HZD stuff. They really should have a third party do either a remaster or remake of 1-3 killzone with multiplayer. With today think it would do way better than it did on PS3, just saying.

We're only gonna more games in the Horizon series as that seems to be his baby now along with Live Service garbage. GG has left KZ to rot.

KZ2 and M.A.G. were what got me to even look at 1st person shooters. I love KZ2 and could def go for a remake /remaster as long as they don't change the multiplayer formula. I hated the changes that they made to KZ3, and my brother and I stayed on KZ2 until they took it offline
