The Outer Worlds 2 confirmed for 2025, includes "everything the first game should've"

Fallout New Vegas developer Obsidian Entertainment has confirmed The Outer Worlds 2 will release in 2025 for all platforms.

How was the DLC compared to the base game?

I really liked Murder on Eridanos. Felt like the right length and I liked the story. Peril on Gorgon was more of a mixed bag. It featured a bigger map than Eridanos but I didn't like the story as much and it kinda dragged. The setting was good though. Just didn't have as much fun with it.

The DLC was fine, although I can't remember all the details since it was ages ago I played it.
That being said, I read this game was supposed to be xbox exclusive and I'm so glad it's coming to PS5.

Was not expecting this soo soon.
So that means, a sizeable chunk of the Obsidian team will be free later, who won't be supporting/making DLCs for Avowed or OuterWorlds 2, ... maybe they can take up the task of making the Fallout spinoff whilst BGS stays busy with ES6

I'd be legitimately surprised if the next Fallout isn't announced with Obsidian at the helm. Especially with InXile and Obsidian working as support studios for each other.

The one thing I have in the back of my mind is that Larian (Baldur's Gate 3) have expressed interest in the Fallout IP not all that long ago. There's a realistic chance Microsoft would reach out and allow them to handle it as well. Either way, if anyone like Obsidian, InXile, Larian were handling the reigns of the series, we'd have something that would really reignite the spirit and tone of the series, as New Vegas did.

Looks damn good. I loved the original, but there were definitely elements that seemed like rough drafts that needed to be fleshed out. Especially with the combat and weapon variety. But I'm damn excited for this. Obsidian hasn't done me wrong yet.

I literally had sucha blast on this game, it was a point of time earlier this year where I decided to get it while dealing with hardships in life. Really surprised me and I enjoyed the dlc too

I need to reinstall and finish it and the DLC. It got a bit long in the tooth in some parts, but I enjoyed the characters.
