Awesome! I definitely look forward to seeing that. I hope there's some good reveals and trailers besides just Borderlands 4.

SeraphTeran151d ago

I am really hoping for RE9 to make an appearance cause of all the leaks there have been.

Lightning77151d ago

Word on the street is there is suppose to be some big reveals this year.

Relientk77150d ago

I have been hearing these rumors. I hope they are true.

TheEroica150d ago

I'll save you the pain in waiting.... It's gonna be every other borderlands game.

gold_drake151d ago

ooooo girl, i cant wait!

i hope we're gonna see some new characters

SeraphTeran151d ago

Really hoping that one of the Vault Hunters is an Eridian. It just feels right if the game focuses on a war with the Eridians.

gold_drake151d ago

right ?

but my fear is, that this aint the last game and that they might save an eridian for the last one.

-Foxtrot151d ago

I just pray they are good

I want a good Siren character again with a good Siren ability.

Nothing has beaten Lilith / Phase walk yet

gold_drake151d ago

yessss

i feel like sirens in general have been lacking since Lilith. especially the last one. not sure what that was about ha.

Firebird360151d ago

Hopefully its not an always online mmo.

After 3 I’m in the wait and see boat. It wasn’t bad but not as good as the first 2 for me. I never finished it

TheNamelessOne150d ago

3 had good gameplay. Terrible writing.

mastershredder150d ago

Oh gee who would have guessed. Cringe shooters is their bag after-all.

Borderlands 4 - State of Play Deep Dive

In today's special State of Play presentation, Creative Director Graeme Timmins and Senior Project Producer Anthony Nicholson showed off the deepest ever look at Borderlands 4's explosive, carnage-filled gameplay.

RhinoGamer888d ago

For dedicated Borderlands player, what is the vibe/take on this game? Pre-order worthy?

LiViNgLeGaCY8d ago

I'm super excited for it. This looked awesome to me.

ThinkThink8d ago

I was hoping for improved visuals, but it still looks last gen. Looks fun though, hopefully it's more borderlands 2 and less borderlands 3.

Noskypeno8d ago

I personally think it looks pretty good graphics wise. Probably not the best example of a next gen game, but there's only so much you can do with that art style.

RaidenBlack7d ago (Edited 7d ago )

It does look slightly better visual wise compared to 3 but yea was expecting more as well.
Not pure tech wise but rather more artistic flourished elevating the cell shaded visuals even more.
What I dont understand is the poor frame rate in the gameplay ... UE5 strikes again, even for a cell shaded game?

MrDead8d ago

It's just more Borderlands, for me that's a good thing. Looks like they've added to the more free flowing movement from the third game.

I don't know if I'd pre-order, I'll probably just buy it on release day.

The State of Play yesterday kinda confused me on this.

The B-roll footage looked way more fun, explosive, creative, and smoother (at 60fps) than the actual gameplay demo, which was in a flat-looking metallic icy area in 30fps and seemed very run-of-the-mill in comparison.

Considering the writing team is trying to avoid a specific kind of tone in their approach to the game, I wonder if it'll be more like the B-roll and those quick exciting moments, or the latter...
