Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Clocks Highest Number Of Players For Any Call Of Duty

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the newest iteration in the Call of Duty series, now boasts the highest number of players in franchise history.

Nice! Everyone showed up for this game.

It has a good campaign, awesome multiplayer, awesome Zombie mode, and people seem happy with Warzone.
So, whatever mode you like, they have you covered, I'm in the Zombies/Campaign crowd, though I do dabble in multiplayer.

This is the best all-around CoD package in a long time.

FPSRUSSIA214d ago

you play Call of duty and hit the game now thats what am talking about i play Multiplayer only But i heard the other modes are good.

Cacabunga213d ago (Edited 213d ago )

I never wanted to get into this franchise because since COD3 and 4 i have been hearing multiplayer is infested with kids and cheaters.. i also dont like yearly releases the player count can drop quickly.

ravens52213d ago

I didn't get MW3. Haven't had my FPS fix in a while. I'm pretty addicted to MP. Idk if I'm going to play the campaign, but I'll try.

TheColbertinator213d ago

The campaign was cool except for the zombie parts

dveio214d ago

Released on PS5 & PS4, X|S & Xbox One and PC. And also the first time Call of Duty has been released on Gamepass.

I am not suprised.

I'd be much more interested in other metrics.

Well it's the 3rd best selling game of the year in the US but still under Helldivers 2 and college footbal.

It's still great sales but not the biggest game like people are claiming. It wasn't even last year as it couldn't out sell hogwarts.

"You’re comparing 9 and 4 months vs 1 month. COD will outsell those games by end of year"

That's what was said about Hogwarts last year...we'll see.

Versus

"It's still great sales but not the biggest game like people are claiming."

It's only been out for one month, 2024 is not over.

And the article clearly compares it to other CoD games.

Neonridr213d ago

it released how many months after?

Was just going to say I'm 100% positive that Gamepass is why this is topping the charts. Literally the only reason I bought the game pass was so I could try it. Not enjoying the "omni movement" as I'm not a fan of people just sliding and jumping around.

Father__Merrin214d ago

How many sold. We need copies sold not gamepass played numbers

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH214d ago

Why do you need sold copies info? You hold stock or what? Why a consumer would care about how many units of product X sold is beyond me.

Tacoboto213d ago

I love this ever-evolving narrative. Xbox is dead, yet we're also concerned about Game Pass negatively impacting COD, of all greedy franchises.

Zeref213d ago

No we don't. Most of us ain't shareholders. I only care about how many people actually play the game.

porkChop213d ago

COD makes most of its money on microtransactions so why does copies sold even matter to you?

This is an unusual pairing as Ballerina is coming to Call of Duty.

Activision says gross Call of Duty loadout screen ads were only a test that was added “in error”

Call of Duty added in-game ads to the Black Ops 6 loadout screen, but Activision is claiming the gross update was added by mistake.

-Foxtrot25d ago

Didn’t Ubisoft use this excuse a while back when they did something similar?

Christopher25d ago

It's amazing how many companies are open with their inability to properly manage software releases while at the same time revealing they have designs developed and ready for full release to do things they know will annoy gamers.

Eonjay24d ago

One would speculate that the may former is related to the latter lol.

Tacoboto25d ago

Microsoft has certainly used that excuse in at least 2-3 Windows updates over the recent years over ads in the Start Menu or something like that

Eonjay24d ago

Literally no one, including Activision believes that excuse lol.

peppeaccardo23d ago

A turd of a game that weights 160GB ... they can showe their code up their deployment interface !!!

isarai25d ago

🤣 bro how many times are we gonna hear this excuse just for it to show up again later

neutralgamer199224d ago

And it was a test meaning it's coming sooner rather than later

InUrFoxHole23d ago

Thoughts and prayers... You're gonna hear it a lot

Reaper22_23d ago

As many times as you keep listening. Maybe you should write them and tell them how you feel.

isarai23d ago

Nah I'll just continue to not buy their games 😎👍

gold_drake25d ago

"oh so sooowy, we wanted to do iiit, but obviously not launch it yet, so its totally not our fault, it was fully functional tho lolzzzz"

Neonridr24d ago

I'm sure these were only by "accident" after the uproar.

Black Ops Season 4 Update Broke The Game Again, Enough is Enough

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 4 broke the game like every previous update, and it's all for CoD HQ. Isn't that enough to kick it away?

abit ridiculous imo, especially for this massive franchise.

Goodguy0126d ago

There's always these random new bugs introduced and bugs that have still been there since day one. But do you know what's still been working absolutely fine? The microtransactions baby 😒

TheColbertinator26d ago

You're right. Somehow nothing else works except ways to max out your credit card.

Deathtracker25d ago

Daymn right! Sometimes the game's not running but the Store tab works flawlessly.

Garethvk26d ago

It has caused Direct X error crashes for me in MP matches.

franwex25d ago

I didn’t experience any bugs so far. Look forward to encountering them eventually.

GortJester25d ago

Enough is enough. They've been given more than enough money to have a working product. It's the deja vu constantly with this franchise.
