Horizon Zero Daw Remastered was released on PC last month to a largely mediocre reception. I would assume most grown-ups don't get excited about products that don't work properly. I would also assume that most grown-ups coming back to gaming don't want to spend the limited time they have modding a broken game to get it to run properly on the Steam Deck.
