Silent Hill 2's excellent display of survival horror has gone unnoticed at The Game Awards, as per the revealed GOTY nominees.
Bloober Team’s tackling of Silent Hill 2 is a gigantic success.
Gamereactor: "We talk all things design with Monika Chmura, who has a clear answer regarding the newly-announced mysterious project the studio will do next based on a Konami IP."
I kind of wish they did. Like I’d love if they could take him and what was established and crank the scares up to 11 with him.
Bloober Team, the Polish masters of horror, and the Japanese giant Konami Digital Entertainment (KONAMI) are continuing their partnership, announcing the signing of a new agreement for a joint project.
A remake of the first Silent Hill would be great. Let a team take Castlevania that is known for experiences with either Metroidvania games or 3D Combat.
Either remake Silent hill 1, 3 or a new silent hill game would be great. After Silent Hill 2 (third favorite game last year) i trust that studio now and am anticipating Cronos: The New Dawn.
It deserves it more than Shadow of the Erdtree
SH2 is the biggest surprise for me this year, the marketing in my opinion made this game look terrible from the first trailer to a couple of months before release where we started to see better stuff but it really turned things around. I was gladly wrong about this one and I think that’s made me enjoy it more keeping my expectations low.
SH2 deserves a place on that list, it even deserves it more than Black Myth.
This and Stellar Blade should have been in GOTY nominees
Yup, SH2, stella blade, space marines 2 deserves nominations.
Shadow of Erdtree shouldn’t be eligible. Balatro… no offence to those who love this game. But really?
Reminder, the game awards is a stupid, worthless show, run by morons. Don't get offended, or bothered by anything related to this crap show that holds no value.
That's cause it owes a lot to the original otherwise there wouldn't be a remake. Personally don't think it deserves any award unless there was one specifically for remakes and even then a category for remakes wouldn't really make much sense. That's not to say it doesn't deserve praise for what it is but I think it'd be unfair to the original works of this year. Stellar Blades is the one that should've gotten nominated, but you have the professional "journalists" for that not happening.
