I would have loved to play it but konami missed the galactic alignment with all the talent kojima had gathered for that game just Guillermo del toro was a super rare addition. Now none of them will work with konami after the disastrous treatment of kojima plus all the kojima fans like myself will not buy it or anything MG

I am a huge MG fan and I will buy Delta for sure. I totally agree with you that Konami missed its opportunity with Silent Hills though.

It aint Silent Hills without Kojima ... and if anything, we sorta got something not too dissimilar in the form of RE7 (I doubt a non-Kojima team can do better but be happy to be proven wrong.)
So, for us consumers to get a hint what new Konami can do with the SH IP, let's see what the upcoming Silent Hill F is all about.

More like they need to sell the IP to playstation. Playstation can then partner with Kojima to make it.

Oh hellz no. The success has nothing to do with Hideo, like at all. So, the success of this game should be dependent on Hideo's f-ing off while at and under Konami's employ and his resulting unfinished works? Really? (holy hell). Toyama's vision as a redux IS a success (and preserved), in NO relation or effort by/to Hideo (other than him pulling a Gearbox with PT and MGS5 by not delivering and then going full dramatic diva and then lost), which ensured his lame-ass was not going to touch the ip again.

So yeah, I'm sure Konami (also imperfect), is supper eager for ass-hat to come back onboard for even more ego-driven drama and assuredly embelish Toyama's works under his own name a few hundred times. No thanks.

I mean, there’s a reason he was fired. No matter how much I love his games, he constantly went over budget and extended deadlines. That costs a company big bucks.

I'm sorry but No we don't .. a hallway sim is still a hallway sim and the "Silent Hills" teaser that got sneaked in the end is just to bait engagements to set Konami up for hate once they cancel his sneaky dirty little trick that never gonna happen

watch this vid about Kojima and you will see his true colors .. the guy is a narcissistic freak and takes all credits to himself

I kind of wish they did. Like I’d love if they could take him and what was established and crank the scares up to 11 with him.

Silent Hill 1 first!
I think they should give castlevania and mgs rising to platinum games

RaidenBlack107d ago

Or a new original Silent Hill entry and then the Silent Hill 1 Remake?
you know going alternatively ... by that we get both new entries as well as remakes

Terry_B107d ago (Edited 107d ago )

A remake of the first Silent Hill would be great. Let a team take Castlevania that is known for experiences with either Metroidvania games or 3D Combat.

I think they still have a good relationship with Mercury Steam... I quite enjoyed their Lord of Shadows games in the franchise. They would be a good one to take on the next CV game as they have the experience you mentioned.

Terry_B107d ago

I think Mercury Steam is actually working on another Metroid game right now :-)

RaidenBlack107d ago

MercurySteam is working on their own ARPG project, to be revealed soon.

Either remake Silent hill 1, 3 or a new silent hill game would be great. After Silent Hill 2 (third favorite game last year) i trust that studio now and am anticipating Cronos: The New Dawn.

Please make SH1 remake.. Not SH3...
