"We are working on this issue already." STALKER 2 has a huge, game-breaking problem on Xbox

Windows Central writes: "Perhaps the biggest issue, particularly for Xbox players, is the game's controller inputs. For some reason, GSC Game World set STALKER 2's gamepad deadzones to zero. This means that even the slightest movement of a stick will trigger movement, and since the vast majority of controllers out there have some form of stick drift, this will cause phantom movements while playing."

Thank God they are working in this. Spinning in circles every time I remove my right thumb is nauseating. Why can't every game have dead zone settings?

Odd I'm playing on Xbox and it's been fine only issue I have so far is sometimes sprint won't work and I have to try a few times

Maybe you're just out of stamina or carrying too much weight in your backpack.

None of those issues on my end though, for now at least.

My biggest one is that I was unable to sprint and would walk really slow. Wasn’t able to fix the problem so had to delete the save file🙃🥲. Luckily I wasn't to far into the game but I think I will wait awhile until major bugs are fixed.

I checked to see how my stamina and weight were and they were good.

The problem is, mostly on PC is all these AAA games getting released when they are clearly not ready it needs to stop. Someone needs to put their foot down and say enough is enough. Delay your game, do extensive testing to make sure it's ready for sale, without a patch that's as big as the game itself, and then another patch, then patch 2, etc. And when asked for a release date, answer: when it's done!
