I have a feeling Indiana Jones is going to be a very good game. I'm getting an Uncharted, Tomb Raider, and Chronicles of Riddick vibe with this one. So much potential

I am less optimistic about it but hopeful. I've usually liked MachineGames output. I'm still surprised they picked that IP to work with. It's not exactly a strong one right now

From my understanding, it was Bethesda Games studios idea, and they partnered with machine games for the necessary tech to make it.

Definitely not the same level of action as those games, but the story looks strongly focused and I like seeing the journal for tracking clues as you explore and a focus on story over tons of shooting of repetitive enemies from out of nowhere.

I believe next year will be better with Avowed in February followed by Towerborne, Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight and Fable.

Forza Horizon 6, State of Decay 3, Contraband, The Outer Worlds 2 and Perfect Dark in 2026

OD, Project Mara, Double Fine´s New IP, Clockwork Revolution and Gears of War: E-Day in 2027

Double Fine´s New IP, Project Dragon, Blade, New Halo and TES VI in 2028

Xbox is so packed with games that I had to leave some games out of the equation! O.o

Avowed, Forza, and possibly Outer Worlds are the only 3 games that even have a chance at being good. Forza will be, but the other 2 can go either way.

Fable has being in development since 2018 by 2025 it´s gonna be 7 years in development. I don´t think that game will take 8 years to be done.

The hardware hasn't been selling and they are trying to enter the final holiday season off-loading remaining inventory before ripping the bandage off they are exiting and in the same way Sega positioned the Dreamcast with shenmue during Christmas Xbox is doing the same with its major exclusive games positioning the hardware a great value system to play these games.

I am very sceptical this holiday season really could be make or break

Yeah I saw Sarah Bond say that but we know about the in fighting and politics going on and jez has referenced this machine is going to be more like a steam machine.
But we also know about project Lattitude and that doesn't lend itself to having a future in hardware

What Jez was referring to was having the Steam Store on Xbox. They are making another new gen console.

To have the steam store on Xbox though means you have to make a PC of some shape form or description hence a steam box so it's almost like they will need to build a PC running a custom OS that can play PC games without the overhead of windows bloat similar to how Xboxs original vision was except the b teams vision if selling windows 2000 boxes loaded with windows basically a PC in the living room

Xbox games finally coming off the production line… might be a little late to the party though.

Hopefully more good stuff will come, then maybe make some good reasons for people to get an xbox again

And it’s a a shame I have Gamepass ultimate for 3 months until February because I bought my friends asus rog off him it had it available to me.

I won’t be buying any of these games but will be playing at minimum 1 of them.

When every screen is an XBOX (and now every console), of course 2024 will end on a high note. See the breakdown for sales of COD? See that way higher number for PS? Wonder what games are going there in 2025 because the year is starting with Indiana Jones....

The higher sales on PS its literally the whole point. MS using PS to further line their pockets that's their strategy.

If you want to hurt Xbox don't buy Doom, Indy or anybody other multiplatform game. If you buy said game you're helping them, if you don't buy those games you're hurting them. You gotta pick a struggle.

I been waiting forever for games on xbox . I only grabbed an xbox series x because they gobbled up most of the American rpgs I played last gen ie (elderscrolls,fallout,outerwor ld). Which sony has a hole in the lineup of.
