If you’re so close to release and already perfectly optimised why haven’t we seen any of it in action. It all seems very strange even releasing comments of the scepticism of it even being able to run on the switch 2 while still not showing anything… and offering the whole package at standard price… something doesn’t add up. Just show images or videos and quiet all the naysayers down or quit with the BS.
CCG writes - "Star Wars Outlaws is fun, kept me engaged for about 90 hours, and Kay is a fun character to explore four fairly large environments with. It does a good job of faithfully representing the Star Wars galaxy far far away and stays mostly true to the lore and established characters. There are tie-ins to several of the movies and shows such as Solo and The Empire Strikes Back. If you like Star Wars and you can overlook the subtle and unnecessary woke expressions, then you'll likely enjoy the game. In my humble opinion Outlaws is over-priced at $70 for the standard game, so you may want to wait for a sale."
Eew. Hopefully whoever composed this score, doesn't get involved with a Star Wars project again.
The only song that really stood out to me was the main title screen. Everything else sounded like the usual Star Wars music score which was fine. I did notice they had some of the Disney era SW tracks peppered in the game. Which is the norm now .
Yepp, people buy games for their music.
I liked the game, despite its rough edges, but the team behind the soundtrack deserve all the praise.
