Red Dead Redemption 2's biggest problem is that it lacks a next-gen patch in an era where the PS5 Pro is about to make landfall.
Red Dead Redemption 2 could be excellent on Nintendo Switch 2, but it's pointless without bringing Red Dead Online along for the ride.
Not just RDR Online, but also cross save progress. I'm not starting over w my nearly 200 hours of the online. I will however consider picking it up again if I can have a purely portable version of it.

If it doesn't come before GTA VI ... don't know know when it will ... but looking at how erratic R* releases are i.e RDR1 PC release after 14 years and 5 years after RDR2 PC ... you never know
I'm sure Rockstar is wanting to sell you a remastered version at this point....
Remaster incoming.
If they up the quality for a ps5 version I'd definitely get it again. Absolutely worth it but I doubt Rockstar is even acknowledging red dead like that. Gta 6 online come on these kids will be buying shark cards up the a$$
