Three More Worms Games Are Joining Digital Eclipse's 'Armageddon' Remaster Next Year

Digital Eclipse's excellent Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition launched on Switch last month and we loved it. This is already a pretty beefy package with all Armageddon game modes, the studio's usual museum content and access to a Game Boy Color version, but it's about to get even bigger.

This is great. This should have been in the launch package though.

Yeah I preordered this special edition they are doing that comes with a few goodies but I may cancel now as they might end up coming out with a full complete collection later on.

I just don’t know why they didn’t just do a Worms collection from the start, keep people interested while they work on a new game.

Review: Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition(Switch) -D.E. Unearths Another Total Classic |NL

"Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition is another slam dunk for Digital Eclipse and its ongoing mission of game preservation and historical documentation. The team hasn't gone mad with any new additions or tweaks to the core experience, but when the original game remains such a bonafide classic more than 20 years after its release, it really doesn't need much tinkering with. The added bonus of the Game Boy Color version alongside a wealth of interesting interviews and archive footage make this release a perfect entry point for newcomers as well as a warm, nostalgic cuddle for veterans." - Ollie Reynolds | NintendoLife
