25 years ago, we were shocked with the image of Lara Croft hanging from a cliff inside an Egyptian tomb, as the credits rolled on Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation.
It’s time for Tomb Raider players to re-experience the next remastered chapters of Lara Croft’s darkest adventures.
Ben reviews Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered; a collection of black sheep within the Tomb Raider series that you shouldn't miss out on.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered blends nostalgia with enhanced visuals and updated controls. Is that enough to warrant a purchase?
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is easy to recommend for both fans of the original games and those whose introduction to Lara Croft came much later on. Its age-related annoyances are easy enough to forgive, and being able to quicksave at any time is a real lifesaver. It’s amazing what was done here in a year, and I’m sure further improvements are still to come. These are important games that deserve to be remembered and preserved, and these remasters are the best way to play them in the modern age.
Oh yay, Angel of Darkness! For some reason, my wife has a nostalgic attachment to this game. I like to remind her how much it sucks. Now she can experience the suck in 4k!
Last Revelation and Chronicles are decent though, I have good memories of them. I'll be picking this up.
Holy shit, I did not expect them to add Angel of Darkness.
It makes sense since it is Tomb Raider VI but with how greedy companies can be I didn't think they'd include it and would do it separately.
It's nice to get some good Tomb Raider content again, the recent Netflix series was just pretty bad.
I just bought the first collections physical copy.
I’ll get this one physical as well.
Nice!
Hope we get VII to IX (legend trilogy) Remasters as well ... but better stop there. No need for further remasters i.e survivor trilogy.
(Yea I know the 2013 one got definitive edition) but you never know, this Remastgen.
I remember when that Angel of Darkness wallpaper came out. It might have been the first time in a videogame that I've seen a shirt looking like it's being "stretched". Good times.
