How many gaas Sony released this gen compared to single player? And they obviously showed they can do both. Next year Ghost 2 and Wolverine and those aren’t remasters nor gaas. I personally love helldivers 2 even though i prefer single player games but I understand the internet believes they’ve only released concord….

No, I’m describing current PlayStation. They’ve had one gaas game sell gangbusters and one flop. Where is this sudden influx you speak of? I often hear this from folks, but they never show more than a game or two…

Meanwhile, they just showed two major single player exclusives for next year and ya’ll remain stuck on the gaas nonsense. It’s comical!

Funny thing I heard was “ they got lucky with helldivers 2 “. They get lucky with their successes and what they deserve with failures like concord, they haven’t released a single player game this gen and will only release gaas.

Yet in the real world they’re releasing both single and online games. It really isn’t rocket science why PlayStation is dominating the way they are.

Well deserved. I think this is the sleeper GOTY and I couldn’t be happier that we FINALLY have a great silent hill game again.

Yep this is my type of game. Not enough games like Resident Evil, The Evil Within, Silent Hill. Always happy to have more.

My GOTY is easily Stellar Blade with second place currently being Space Marine 2, Rise of the Ronin, or possibly Silent Hill 2 or Metaphor depending how I feel when I finish them. Tekken 8 is great too but I'm unhappy with their micro-transaction use. Wu Kong and Dragons Dogma 2 were both fine but a let down compared to what I was expecting.

Playing it on my PC. I enjoyed a blissfull 2 and half hours of play. Love playing at night, so i wont play again until tonight.

Playing it on 1440p epic graphics settings, locked at 60 fps.

This game kicks arse. Silent Hill 2 remains a masterpiece and this new version nails the vibe while updating it tastefully. the new stuff so far doesn't feel out of place. I'm not finished with it but yeah my initial impressions are through the roof.

I've got to admit, I was initially skeptical of Bloober Team developing the game, and seeing the initial gameplay trailer had me worried. I'm glad I was wrong. It's a great remake adaptation of the original game, and I'm glad it's well received by gamers.

Hopefully it sells well enough to warrant remakes for the first game, Silent Hill 3 & 4.
