I liked all of Blooper games thus far being a horror fun and specifically those in psychological horror/walking simulation type of horror and I expected them to deliver a solid game.

Hopefully judging by the reviews, they seem to have nailed it, especially the atmosphere which is key for these type of games.

Cant wait to finish my huge backlog of horror games to experience it!

cthulhucultist209d ago

haha yes, you are right. I always mistype this as I confuse this with the nintendo character :-)

pwnmaster3000213d ago (Edited 213d ago )

A lot of people weren’t. I’m glad it was good.

I seen a lot of people that were crapping on this game, hoping it will bomb because they made the female. “ugly”.

-Foxtrot213d ago

Same

Least now I know it’s worth the purchase, lucky since it’s already on its way, I must have forgotten I preordered it.

Bloober are usually pretty terrible so it’s a nice surprise, however with the foundation already there and it just being just a remake maybe this is what they are best at while they gain experience from it to do their own original games again in the future.

Obscure_Observer213d ago

"I must have forgotten I preordered it."

WTF? You were crapping on Bloober from the start and now the reviews for their game are overly positive, you´re desperately and shamelessly trying to pull a 180.

It´s quite awesome that despite all the hate, Bloober turn out to be the RIGHT choice for Silent Hill 2 and they´ll most definitely continue to be Konami´s first choice for a possible new remake or sequel.

-Foxtrot213d ago

Woah. Slow down.Hold your horses and stop getting your panties in a bunch

Let me explain

When it gets NEARER to launch, so this would have been when the trailers were improving compared to a year ago and I see a Steelbook as a preorder bonus, I preorder it just incase a miracle happens so I don’t miss out on the steelbook

If it’s terrible, I cancel or refuse delivery to send it back

If they pull it off, I keep it and I haven’t lost out on the preorder bonus that would then skyrocket in value on eBay.

It’s called being tactical, that’s it. Is that a crime?

I don’t know what kind of “win” you were trying to get from that but it’s kind of pathetic considering the amount of shit you’ve pulled especially with your multiple accounts…but yeah sure, go crazy.

Neonridr213d ago

@Foxtrot - please tell me you don't waste the postal system's time by refusing delivery.. for the love of god, cancelling something is a simple click of a button.

-Foxtrot213d ago (Edited 213d ago )

@Neonrider

I usually do cancel but GAME.co.uk are terrible and even if you cancel it 5 days before hand, even when they haven’t sent it off they tell you that they can’t stop the order from their warehouse. When you complain and say “but it hasn’t left yet, I’ve given you plenty of time” they get all arsey and end up saying “to cancel now, please refuse delivery at the door and it will be automatically sent back to us”.

Their entire online system is a joke, you currently can’t even see or cancel preorders at the minute after they updated their site.

Neonridr213d ago

@Foxtrot - that's fair, I'm on the other side of the pond, so I can't relate. Plus I usually order games from Amazon and their process is super easy to cancel.

-Foxtrot213d ago

@Neon

Sadly Amazon over here don’t get any of the goodies GAME do and their customer service in comparison is a lot better

Companies keep giving GAME stuff as exclusives which is why you got to preorder because the way they operate and do things are just super bad.

Now I can keep the preorder and get the steelbook without paying insane prices on eBay.

I usually have an Excel document (sad I know) that tracks what I’ve ordered but this one must have fell through the cracks

blackblades213d ago

You were probably the main one on the smearing campaign

-Foxtrot213d ago (Edited 213d ago )

@blackblade

Please. Please just shut the f*** up. All you do is pick fights with users on here.

I know you have an issue with me but keep your bitching to the DMs

There’s nothing wrong with being skeptical, it looked like shit when they first showed it off along with a developer who hasn’t got a lot of good titles behind them. Then it looked a little better, and better and they pulled it off.

What’s wrong with changing opinions based on new information

You’d be bitching if I was still calling it worse than shit regardless of the turn around

Same goes for every one disagreeing. You can’t win.

cthulhucultist209d ago

@Foxrot: I dont think that they are pretty terrible as you say. Their game ratings also do not suggest this. Many find their games lacking because they venture too much into walking simulation territory but they are far from terrible and I believe that you ere exaggerating.

The main issue here is that such a high profile horror game was given to a Team that does not have the best track record in horror gaming and that is why many people where concerned.

I was expecting this to be absolute garbage, all the info and reveals prior suggested that it would be. I might actually reconsider and buy this in the future, I'm pretty sure I deleted it from my wishlist.

BABI-PANGPANG213d ago

Just built myself my very first gaming PC—4080 card and everything, big ass OLED screen—and I'm so ready to put this beauty to the test! Never played the original either, so I'm so excited to be blown away by it all.

Silent Hill 1 first!
I think they should give castlevania and mgs rising to platinum games

RaidenBlack69d ago

Or a new original Silent Hill entry and then the Silent Hill 1 Remake?
you know going alternatively ... by that we get both new entries as well as remakes

Terry_B69d ago (Edited 69d ago )

A remake of the first Silent Hill would be great. Let a team take Castlevania that is known for experiences with either Metroidvania games or 3D Combat.

darthv7269d ago

I think they still have a good relationship with Mercury Steam... I quite enjoyed their Lord of Shadows games in the franchise. They would be a good one to take on the next CV game as they have the experience you mentioned.

Terry_B69d ago

I think Mercury Steam is actually working on another Metroid game right now :-)

RaidenBlack69d ago

MercurySteam is working on their own ARPG project, to be revealed soon.

VersusDMC69d ago

Either remake Silent hill 1, 3 or a new silent hill game would be great. After Silent Hill 2 (third favorite game last year) i trust that studio now and am anticipating Cronos: The New Dawn.

MehmetAlperTR69d ago

Please make SH1 remake.. Not SH3...
