The PlayStation 5 Pro could easily be a 1440p, 120 FPS machine, as some games can push above 100+ FPS without any optimization.
According to Rockstar Games, all footage shown in the GTA 6 Trailer 2 video was captured on a “PS5”, not a “PS5 Pro”.
I don't think there's really going to be a whole lot in it, higher resolution, maybe a bit better on detail here and there? They both have the same CPU and even if Pro runs it better I don't think either console will be more than 30-40fps with dips.
CPU will be a limiting factor, and you can bet R* will want double dippers with console to PC and also console to next gen consoles.
Pc gamers are going to lose there minds knowing this was captured on a PS5
welcome to reality
No gameplay is lame. But I suppose rockstar usually waits til close to release for a full gameplay breakdown.
Little Nightmares III receives an Advisory 16 rating in Singapore. Set in a haunting world, the horror adventure features new protagonists, eerie environments, and disturbing encounters.
Former Sony Interactive Entertainment executive Shuhei Yoshida has shared how his feedback played a role in the success of Gran Turismo.
To this day, anyone that plays a GT game for the first time and doesn't have experience with this kind of game will crash at the first corner, so not really sure what Shu is claiming here. I literally saw this happen a few months ago at an event where they had GT7 with VR2 up on a stage and members of the public got to try it out.
There are already some HFR modes on PS5 OG so this isn't really news. COD for example as well as other games like unlocked Spiderman and whatnot. One assumes they would just be locked 120 or close too it with just the extra grunt the GPU provides.
Starfield 120 FPS
AMD silently released the mobile GPU the PS5 Pro is based on the RX 7800m, so soon we’ll be able to see what the GPU / PS5 Pro should be capable of.
The Switch 2 has my interest somewhat as I want to see how Nintendo implements DLSS into their games, and if they’re bold enough to create a stand-alone external GPU dock for up to 4K resolution scaling for (literally a mobile RTX 3050 would be enough).
I doubt it, but realistically that should be the future of Nintendo handheld device with stand-alone mid-low PC spec dock for external GPU support for higher resolutions on 4K TVs. It saves them from having to invest in two platforms and having a higher initial entry cost and really pure profit. $349 / $399 for the Switch 2 and included basic dock (the current switch is $100 overpriced), and $349 / $399 for a stand-alone Pro dock.
They not gonna like this!! 🤣🤣
