Rockstar documents suggest GTA VI could get the Ballad of Gay Tony episode treatment

Rockstar's latest financial report suggests that GTA VI could get downloadable episodes, similar to GTA IV.

It should get two expansions

One follows on from the game

The other is a non canon story like Undead Nightmare. Whether it’s Zombies, Aliens or just a variety of ghouls, monsters and supernatural creatures terrorising the map.

Yeah and we were promised story DLC for GTA V. How'd that work out? They realised the money was in online. Why would this one be any different?

Yeah right we'll see, they let us down back to back with false claims of good dlc, red dead 2 never got anything, gta 5 dlc canned for no reason. Folks seem to forget how rockstar care more about online only, we might get half of dlc and folks will be disappointed af. Dlc prolly will take just an additional 5 hours to beat then once they see gta 6 online booming they'll cut singleplayer support, they'll put just "enough" story/free roam mode just to get by that's it

Whilst Rockstar make incredible games, they're not the rockstar of old.

GTA V originally launched at the tail end of the PS3/360 generation, when GTA V released, there were at least 150 million PS3 and Xbox 360 owners to sell the game to.

When GTA VI launches next year (maybe), there will likely be only about 100 million PS5 and Xbox owners to sell the game to. We will see how that ends up impacting its launch sales.

I could see them prioritizing single player DLC first since it's highly unlikely that the players of GTA V online will switch over soon after launch and it will probably be a slow and gradual shift.

Common knowledge but it was on the cards and far into development for v then online just started bringing in a ton of money so it was cancelled and what could be salvaged into online was.

Sad result v really needed something different I enjoyed it but the games and DLC we got in IV, tlad and tbogt were all tonally different and made the whole game and absolute masterpiece when played altogether they were made for each other the game feels incomplete without DLC so maybe v was the same

I never bought a shark card for 5 but easily bought both expansions for GTA4and they were great
