Seven years. That's how long it's been since the last entry in NetherRealm Studios' Injustice series. New rumours suggest that Injustice 3 (the DC fighting game) is finally moving forward at NetherRealm Studios.
A new data mine of the soon to be discontinued crossover fighting game, MultiVersus, suggests that Injustice 3 may be in development.
Its obvious anyway. Netherrealms next Microtransactions, DLC Filled fighting game where its all about combos..combos..and more combos.
Sorry, hard to feel excited for what i imagine will be microtransaction, DLCs, a bunch of cosmetics and a formulaic game design.
Injustice 1 was based of MK 2011 and Injustice 2 was based on MK X
But we didn't get any based on the MK11.
Seems like Injustice 3'd be MK1 based.
Injustice 2's gear system was the source of that game's character customization, but it may not return in the same form in Injustice 3.
Most fans are tired of the "bad" or "evil" Superman story. The world needs the hopeful and good Superman again!

Would love to see the guest characters this time to be from Masters of the Universe, Thundercats, and perhaps seeing the Turtles making a return, considering how cool they are in Injustice 2.
Can’t wait to see how DEI’d the designs are and how monetized to hell this one’ll be.
